CORONA VIRUS
COVID-19 is a respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2,
which was discovered in 2019. The virus primarily spreads from person to
person via respiratory droplets and small particles produced when an
infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks. In crowded or poorly
ventilated indoor settings, the virus spreads quickly. The severity of the
illness can range from mild to severe, and not everyone infected with the
virus develops symptoms.

COVID-19 has different effects on different people. The majority of

infected people will develop mild to moderate illness and recover
without the need for hospitalization.
Fever, cough, tiredness, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, headache,
aches and pains, diarrhoea, rash on skin or discoloration of fingers and
or toes, and irritated eyes are the most common symptoms.

PREVENTION IMMEDIATELY
If you are exposed to or come into contact with CoVID-19,
wear a mask when you are around others (even indoors) for
ten (10) days, monitor your symptoms, and get tested.

PREVENTION
Do the following to avoid infection and slow the spread of
COVID-19:

When a vaccine is available, get vaccinated.

Even if they don't appear to be sick, keep at least one
metre apart.
When physical separation is not possible or when the
environment is poorly ventilated, wear a properly fitted
mask.
Open, well-ventilated spaces are preferable to closed
ones. If you are indoors, open a window.
Hands should be washed with soap and water on a
regular basis, or cleaned with an alcohol-based hand
rub.
When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and
nose.
Stay at home and isolate yourself until you feel better.
