    DISCLOSURE ON EXPENSES
    RELATED TO LOBBYING ACTIVITIES AND MEMBERSHIPS
    FOR THE YEAR 2021

    When undertaken with integrity and transparency, lobbying is a legitimate activity to engage in as part of the deliberate
    process of law making. Ageas’s intention is to report on its lobbying activities and the expenses related to it as well as the
    total amount spent on memberships Group-wide on an annual basis, as stated in Ageas’s guiding principles for lobbying.

    The following overview does not only include the amounts spent on lobbying practices, but also the membership fees to
    national and international organisations endorsed by ageas SA/NV through its consolidated entities. These memberships
    can include trade associations, industry associations and business associations who, in certain cases, influence
    governments’ or institutions’ policies and decisions on behalf of its members.
