MINUTES DURING THE LAC SESSION HELD LAST SEPTEMBER 24, 2020 AT
7:35 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING FOR TEAM 2 OF SOUTH I-A CENTRAL SCHOOL

A. CALL TO ORDER
The LAC Session was called at 7:30 o’clock in the morning and at exactly
7:35 o’clock the webinar was started.
B. INVOCATION
Opening prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem was
given by the webinar facilitator, Ma’am Jeanna Malou B. Sapida through
virtual.
C. MESSAGE
Ms. Joy Antoniette G. Teves our LAC leader welcome the participants and
encourage each member their full cooperation in the session.
D. CHECKING OF ATTENDANCE
Checking of attendance on the attendees was conducted through online
registration using padlet.com.
E. WEBINAR ETIQUETTE
House Rules during Webinar was explained clearly by the webinar
facilitator, Mrs. Jeanna Malou B. Sapida to have a smooth transition
during the duration of the webinar conducted. The attendees were
obliged to follow the said house rules that were imposed.
F. AGENDA:
The webinar was called to discuss about : Planning For Continuing
Professional Development and LAC Planning:

DISCUSSION ON THE LAC SESSION TOPIC:


- The LAC Leader introduced Mrs. Jeanna Malou B. Sapida as the
facilitator and Mrs.Mae S. Ligaray as the documenter for this LAC
Session 4.
- Mrs. Jeanna Malou B. Sapida echoed the topic “Planning For
Continuing Professional Development and LAC Planning”: The
facilitator started the webinar with the discussion about “ Learning is
a continuous process, she also stated the objectives, related to the
LDMs that are available.
- We will be learning on how to reflect, sometimes because of the hectic
schedules.
- Not all teachers are open for the development, there’s no age limit, we
undergo Professional development.
- Continuing Professional Development Guidelines, deped order no.
50,s.2020 on Deped Professional Development Priorities.

Activity 1:
- Assess your current capabilities and skills using the Professional Self-
Assessment Questionnaire:
- The activity number 1 is connected to the activity number 2, your
answer on the activity will be your bases on your self- assessment
activity.
- The modalities adopted in our schools, are the modular and blended
learning.
- In exchanging of ideas, according to Ms.Joy Antonette G. Teves she
agree not exactly strongly agree because she still new of things, were
still adjusting we still don’t know if we can deliver it perfectly.
- Mrs. Mae S. Ligaray and Ms. Vilma P. Talosig And Allyn Marie L.
Rojero, Ms. Anthonette Llyn Joice C. Bermoy , Merilyn I.Sacayle
agree, since we can accomplement all modalities and platforms, we
still needs improvement and development , they will serve as Para-
Teachers in this New Normal.
- Mrs. Rohani U. Baunto, agree she try her best to engage with parents
this time, coz they are our partners and also in our community in
time of pandemic. Ms. Joy Antonette G. Teves give more insights
that, doen’t mean to say that the teacher is only the center here, but
the parents also willing to do their part. Therefore two way
communication, give and take.
- Lesson 1-Course Assessment and Certification:
- The Portfolio will be evaluated by the coach, who will recommend the
issuance of the certificate to the NEAP Central Office through NEAP,
Regional office.
Domain1- Content Knowledge and Pedagogy:
-In here don’t forget your answer in activity number 1 because we have to align
in our PPST, domain and strengths.

Domain 3-Diversity of Learners:
Domain 4- Curriculum and Planning:
Activity 2:Deped Memo no, 50, s. 2020, it focuses on our Professional
Development Priorities for Teachers and school Leaders for SY. 2020-
2023.Showing the diagram, to improve the quality of teaching and Performance
of a Teachers, we can seen also here the PPST strength, this is under the Law.
Continuing Professional Development Guidelines PPST, Deped memo, NEAP,
the state shall enhance the right of teachers to Professional advancement: Non-
teaching academic and non-academic personnel shall enjoy the protection of
the state.
-Code of Ethics for Teachers, section 3, Article IV.
-Republic Act no.10912-Mandating and Strengthening the continuing
Professional Development Program for all regulated Professions.
-CPD- Continuing Professional Development-It’s a record of what you
experience, learn and then apply. Improve our Professional knowledge
competence, skills and effectiveness.

-Activity 2-We select domain number 1, the Content knowledge and Pedagogy,
the subject articulation and the integration are vital in the instruction of
Learning during the new normal of teaching, for teachers impower ourselves in
the strategies in the different learning areas sacrificing in the different learning
modalities.
Activity 3:-We need to assist ourselves, to produce quality output, learners
ready and fully equipped.

▪Communicate with your assigned instructional coach to provide you a list of
Regional and Division Training Programs in your area. We can use our
webinars attended.

-Focusing Teaching and Learning.
Activity 2- Insights:
-ROHANI U. BAUNTO- We adopt modality, making lesson plan align with the
MELCs .
-MERILYN I. SACAYLE- Applying the Assessment tool in choosing Learning
resources for the modules.
- ANTHONETTE LLYN JOICE C. BERMOY-Making Lesson Plan align with the
MELCs by Deped since we are using modular modalities, so it is very important
to make a lesson plan and SLA that are related to the most essential Learning
Competencies then unpacking and Combining, so that the competencies will
result into one.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:
Dr.REUBERT L. DECHOS- I’m happy to see each one of you discussing about
the Professional Development, objectives. I’ts good to here Jeanna for
discussing it thoroughly with the co teachers, your such an inspiration to us .
This will help each one of us the Principal including the Supervisor. Interactive,
discussion, good insights, its really inspiring seing you collaborative
discussion, improvement of our school.
This will help us develop our skills and knowledge as a Teacher, we can
grow professionally.I hope this will not stop, your learning and understanding
LDM observed guiding us a tool to improve continually. Congratulations to all
of us.
JOY ANTONIETTE G. TEVES- Dr. Leubert L. Dechos, motivated us to do well,
that is why no matter how hard the load is, it will be lighter if shared.We help
each other constructively.
-In conclusion, the LAC facilitator reminded us to have an advance reading on
module 5 . It will be on September 30, 9:00-12:00 nn.
