CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

In today's modern society, the use of technology has become an essential part of

our daily lives. With the increasing demand for convenience and accessibility, businesses

have turned to technology to enhance their operations and services. One of the areas

where technology has made a significant impact is in the clothing industry. The ability to

order and purchase products online has become the norm for many consumers, and

businesses have had to adapt to this trend to remain competitive.

The usage of technology has become a necessary component of our everyday

lives in today's modern civilization. Businesses are using technology to improve their

operations and services in response to the growing demand for accessibility and

convenience. The apparel business is one of the fields where technology has had a big

influence. Many consumers now expect to be able to order and pay for goods online, so

companies have to catch up with this trend to stay competitive.

The clothing industry is one of the most competitive and lucrative industries in

the world. With the rise of e-commerce and online shopping, it has become even more

essential for businesses to have an online presence to remain competitive. The Marquis

Clothing brand, recognizes this need and has expressed interest in developing a web-
