INDIAN CULTURE INTRO:

Today I want to take a moment to talk about something that is so close
to my heart – Indian culture..First things first, we are a melting pot of
languages, religions, and traditions.
From kannada to hindi to Bengali to Punjabi, we have got it all!
And let me tell you, diversity does not stop there.
We have got hindus, muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs. “Its like a
festival of religions happening all year around”

India, with its rich cultural heritage, has been a cradle of artistic expression for millennia,
nurturing a myriad of art forms that continue to inspire and captivate the world.
One of the most renowned art forms originating from India is classical dance. With its
graceful movements, intricate hand gestures, and expressive storytelling, classical dance
forms like yakshagana, veeraghase ,Kathakali, and Manipuri transport us to a world
where poetry is conveyed through movement

Yakshagana a traditional Indian dance come theatre form, developed in Dakshina

Kannada, which is also known as Thenku thittu, is a complete art form
like no other. It is a fusion of dance, expressions, dialogue, discussion,
debate, music, resplendent costumes and make up.The main motto of the origin of this art
form was to create awareness to the public, and transport the audience into a world of
myth and legend, evoking a range of emotions and to captivate the senses

Hulivesha, also known as the Tiger Dance, is another vibrant and captivating folk dance
form originating from the coastal regions of Karnataka.Hulivesha is not only a visual
spectacle but also a cultural tradition that carries deep significance. The dance form has
its roots in ancient folklore and mythology, where the tiger is revered as a symbol of
courage, protection, and fertility. Hulivesha performances are believed to bring good
luck, prosperity, and ward off evil spirits.

Veeraghase, meaning "the dance of the brave," is also a unique art form of Karnataka
with a blend of movement, rhythm, and storytelling. The dance form is characterized by
dynamic footwork, graceful hand gestures, and swift movements that symbolize the
fierce energy and valor of Lord Shiva

( INTRO TO THE PERFORMERS )AND:

May the upcoming performance serve as a tribute to the artists, playwrights, directors,
and technicians who have dedicated their lives to preserving and enriching the world of
Kannada Dance and theater. Let us all revel in the creativity, the cultural heritage, and the
spirit of storytelling that these theater forms bring to life. Hope you all enjoy the
performance.
After the performance:

WOWW, what a spectacular performance it was, Hope you all thoroughly enjoyed it.I
definitely did!!!
It just doesnt stop there, we ve set up something for you,
