Appreciating cultural differences to effective communication isn’t always an easy

task to bring into completion. But as a future educator, this stopped me to think its
importance to understand my purpose in this world and help me understand other people
too. Lack of appreciation on cultural differences may lead to ineffective communication.
Everyone of us keeps a list of people inside that we still don't fully comprehend, let alone
respect. We are all a harbor of prejudices and biases toward particular groups. Fears
typically include being judged, misunderstandings, and accidentally patronizing or
harming other people.
But if we learn about one another by immersing ourselves in cultures outside of
our own. This allows us to understand where people are from, what their customs are, and
what issues they face as a group. Also, it makes us question the presumptions we have
about our own routines and behaviors, which promotes amazing personal growth.
Appreciating cultural differences will enable us to interact with others in our
environment more meaningfully. By embracing both our differences and our similarities,
we are increasing our respect for and empathy for other people. It enables others to
discover more about a culture other than their own. As a result, we are better able to
comprehend and value viewpoints and traditions that are distinct from our own. It's
critical to recognize the differences between sharing and taking.
In appreciating cultural differences, we develop a sense of connection with those
who are different from us when we mix with them. In the process, we discover more
about the world and ourselves, which advances our intellectual and spiritual
development. Furthermore, acknowledging and respecting "ways of being" that are not
necessarily similar to our own is made easier by cultural diversity. So that we can create
bridges for trust, respect, and understanding across cultural boundaries as we connect
with others. Thus, appreciating cultural differences is a vital tool to an effective
communication.
