Exelixi ‘23 is the biggest ICT event
organized by any school in Gampaha

Exelixi ‘23 is the annual ICT day of Bandaranayake
College organized by Bandaranayake College Computer Society [BCCS].
Exelixi ‘23 event will feature a expert in the IT industry
in the day. He/She will share his/her experience in the IT industry on the day as a lecture.
Exelixi ‘23 is designed as a Artificial Intelligence (AI)
themed ICT day. Evey aspect of the day consistently shares the theme throughout the event.
We are holding competitions parallel to the ICT day. It
includes both inter-school. Both inter-school and intra- school competition winners will be appreciated in the day.
About Exelixi ‘23 Ideathon competition will be held as a physical event
prior to the day. Other competitions will be hosted completely online.

Ideathon competition will take place in our school
as the only physical event held in Exelixi ‘23. At the competition competitors will be given a broad topic to explore and come up with a problem statement.
Once the problem is defined they will be given time to
design a specific solution to solve the problem.
This competition will start at 9.00 am and will end
around 3.00 pm. During the time period Team BCCS will facilitate competitors with lectures.
This is a great opportunity to advertise services just like
the day itself, since competitors have their attention on our smart board in the competing area.
You can take the advantage and design your
advertising strategies to a align with a more logical thinking, problem solving focused tech savy competitors. About the Ideathon More on that later.

We will invite 20-25 schools in both Gampaha
and Colombo district to take part in our competition.
All the attendees from invited schools will be at
the age of 17 - 19 meaning they are facing their Advanced Level (A/L) examination.
Participants will be tech enthusiasts. There is
a high chance that they are a member of the invited schools’ computer societies.
Along with invited schools, students from
Bandaranayake College will also take part in the event. Winners of intra-school ICT competitions will be invited to the ICT day.
