Type Certificate (TC). A document issued by a DGCA to define the design of an aircraft type
and to certify that this design meets the appropriate airworthiness requirements.
(i) Has been type certificated in accordance with this Decree and for which DGCA Approved
Specifications or type certificate data sheets have been issued; or
(ii) Is identical to a type certificated product specified in paragraph(b)(1)(i) of this section in all
respects except as is otherwise acceptable to the civil aviation authority of the importing

A Class III product is any part or component which is not a Class I or Class II product and
includes standard parts.
(a) Except as provided in paragraph (b) and (c) of this appendix, each person performing a
major repair or major alteration shall−
(1) Execute DGCA Form 43-337 at least in duplicate;
(2) Give a signed copy of that form to the aircraft owner; and
(3) Forward a copy of that form to the appropriate DGCA Office within 48 hours after the
aircraft, airframe, aircraft engine, propeller, or appliance is approved for return to service

1)The height of the identification marks on the wings shall be at least 50 centimeters (20
inches).
2) The marks on the fuselage (or equivalent structure) or vertical tail surfaces shall be as large
as practicable, but shall not interfere with the visible outlines of the fuselage (or equivalent
structure ) and shall leave at least a margin of 5 centimeters (2 inches) along each edge of any
vertical tail surface.
3) The height of marks on the fuselage or vertical tail surfaces shall be at least 30 centimeters
(12 inches).
