4.2 Graph of Trigonometry Functions

This document discusses trigonometric functions including their graphs, amplitude, period, and phase shifts. It provides examples of identifying the amplitude and period of functions like y = 4 sin 2x and y = -2 cos(θ/2). It also demonstrates how to graph functions using transformations, showing how changing parameters affects the graph. Key aspects covered are the symmetry of sin and cos graphs, effects of amplitude, period, and phase shifts, and techniques for graphing trig functions based on their characteristics.
