Procedure overview
The process for installing the operating system on the TVU Server
is a multistep process that must be completed by an operator
with direct physical access to the server. The process is explained
in detail later in this documentation, but the following summary
is to provide a high-level context to the sequential steps of the
process.

2 Restoring the TVU One Linux v7.6 Operating


System (OS)

Step 1 - Creating a bootable disk


Complete the following steps to create a bootable USB flash drive: 7. Click the ISO image in the Boot selection drop-down menu

Step 2 - Installing the OS on the server


To install the operating system, complete the following steps:
1. Power ON the server.
2. Press F12 as it begins to boot up. Continue tapping F12 until
a boot menu displays.
3. Select the USB flash drive in the boot menu and press Enter.

4. The Clonezilla screen displays within a few moments. Press


Enter which should select the top/default choice similar to
the screenshot below. 7. Total processing time may vary, but should take about 5 to
15 minutes.
8. When prompted, remove the USB flash drive.
9. Select the Reboot option (number 1). Then, press Enter.
10. After the TVU server reboots. Refer to the TVU Software
User Guide, Models VS3100, VS3200, VS3250, VS3500, and
VS3550 - Linux for further configuration procedures.
