- It is defined as a short-term focused teaching program with objectives aimed at particular
students or small groups of students with specific need.
2. Why is intervention important?
- It allows teachers to address gaps in a child’s knowledge and barriers to their progress.
- To progress children and allow them to access the curriculum
3. What do we need in planning interventions?
- Identify the learning difficulties of learners.
- Plan strategies to be used to address these difficulties.
- Identify key persons who will play part in the intervention .
- Plan when to do the desired activities for intervention.
