Wind Turbines
The wind is not a new term to humans. Humans use the wind they can track for 3000
years. In ancient times, people used the wind mainly for agriculture, irrigation, and
navigation. However, fossil fuels were the main source of power generation. In the 19th
century, Commercial exploration has shifted from coal to oil. Coal and natural gas are

Due to the burning of fossil fuels, we started to need alternative power sources.

alternative resource to coal, oil, and nuclear power Abundant, renewable, pervasive, and
low-impact energy for the world neighborhood. Wind is the result of a drop in air
pressure. Occurs due to temperature changes in various fields. Land and sea have
different compositions and unique temperature features.
Generally, more wind is available at sea than on land. one windmill A machine that
converts wind power into electrical energy. Wind is mechanically supplied by A driven
shaft that rotates to generate electricity. Power distribution is subject to the availability of
wind speed. Wind speeds vary greatly from hour to hour, but the average wind speed is
constant throughout the day. This average wind speed is used for power and power
performance calculations. Wind turbines are therefore always used in conjunction with
some power A source for stabilizing the output [1].
Onshore wind turbines are systems that are built and installed on land. they are Cheap to
build; it is one of the cheapest renewable energy sources. it was often criticized for her
visual impairment problems. The electricity bill per kWh is half of the conventional one.
Her quarter of the cost of offshore wind energy and solar panels. The onshore wind
industry dominates in Europe. China, USA, Germany, and India are the countries with
the highest total contribution of 540 GW of capacity as of December 2017. The United
States and China have put a lot of research and money into development. Onshore wind
industry. This development and interest in the onshore wind industry have been
enormous Recent years have brought a promising, progressive, and sophisticated offshore
wind industry. An overall decline in onshore construction as a result of the emergence of
the offshore wind industry in 2017, 10% wind capacity was observed. The basis of
onshore wind turbines is Cast on site while towers, rotor blades, and other machinery are
assembled and transported on site. However, onshore wind turbines are relatively easier
to transport than offshore wind turbines. It involves extensive pre-planning and
discussions with logistics companies and authorities [4].
Research Gap
Ideal wind farms are often remote. Bringing electricity from wind farms to the urban
areas needed to meet demand requires overcoming installation challenges. Upgrading the
national grid to connect wind-rich regions to metropolitan areas could significantly
reduce the cost of developing onshore wind power. In addition, offshore wind
transmission and grid connectivity have improved.
Turbines make noise and change visual aesthetics. Although wind farms have different
environmental impacts than conventional power plants, there are similar concerns about
both the noise produced by turbine blades and the visual impact on the landscape.
Wind turbines can affect local wildlife. Wind projects rank lower than other energy
developments in terms of wildlife impacts, but research is still needed to minimize wind-
wildlife interactions. Continuing environmental research work to reduce the impact of
technological advances, and proper placement of wind turbines and wind turbines on
wildlife.
