Betterment's The project was aimed to optimize Tax-Coordinated Portfolio’s tax efficiency for investors using the Betterment robo-
advisor platform. The project focuses on strategically allocating investments across different types of accounts to maximize after-tax
returns and minimize the impact of taxes on investment gains. By leveraging sophisticated algorithms and automated processes,
Betterment aims to provide investors with a more tax-efficient investment experience.
The project's objective was to improve the bank's portfolio management system. The bank's premium clients owned actively traded ETF
portfolios. To enhance the management system for these portfolios, machine learning capabilities were introduced. These additions
empowered the bank to provide personalized recommendations on stocks, bonds, and ETFs to clients based on their savings, earnings,
and risk tolerance.
