MT5 on Windows
The MT5 platform is available for Windows and macOS. The
Trading Pit offers a different platform option depending on
the Broker the trader chooses for one of our Forex Challenges.

This guide will give you a quick explanation of the download


and installation process, setting up our connections, and the
removal of MT5 for Windows.

Install MT5
Follow the steps below to download and install MT5 for Windows.

1 Start by going to your Client Area and logging into your Dashboard.

2 Then go to your Download Platforms tab and select Download Quantower.

3 To start the platform installation, double-click on the setup.exe file you have downloaded.

4 A new pop-up will appear for you to read


the license agreement. If you accept
everything on the agreement, click Next.

5 The installation process will then begin. Do


not click on anything during this stage.

6 Once the installation is complete, click Finish.

The program should automatically start once you have clicked Finish. If it does not automatically
launch, simply double-click on the shortcut created and the MT5 platform will open.

7 Now you are ready to log in to your MT5 platform. To connect your TTP account, click on the File tab,
then select Open an account.

8 Select FXFlat Bank as your company/broker and click Next.

9 Click on connect with an existing trade account and enter your platform Username and Password
that we sent you through email after your challenge registration.

10 That’s it, you are now connected to MT5 and you can start trading. You can view your account in the
bottom left in the Navigator section.

Uninstall MT5
Follow the steps below to uninstall MT5 from your desktop.

1 If for any reason you would like to Uninstall


MT5, right click on the application and select
Open file location.

2 You can now see the Uninstall link as per below. Double-click and this will start the uninstalling
process.

You have now successfully uninstalled the MT5 platform from your desktop.
