Brief Description and General Objectives of the DepEd Program/Project:

The Department of Education (DepEd) recognizes the importance of parental involvement and full cooperation as integral factor for school improvement.
According to a number of studies, learners perform better in schools when parents are actively involved in their children’s’ education. Learners with involved parents get
good grades. Thus, learners resulted to have better social skills, reduced absenteeism, and improved behavior. Moreover, Parents Teachers Association (PTA) plays a
critical role in discussing various issues and solutions regarding school projects and programs which aid the learners in achieving holistic learning. Therefore, the main
objective of the PTA is to provide assistance and support for the promotion of the learners’ welfare.
