PROCEDURE FOR ASSEMBLY

1. PURPOSE: To do the assembly of Parts as per the instruction sheet.

2. SCOPE: This procedure as applicable to the functions of Plastic & rubber component.

3. RESPONSIBILITY: It is the responsibility of the Plastic & rubber component assembly worker
to do work as per the instruction sheet.

4. REFEENCE: Instruction sheet, Supervisor

5. PROCEDURE:

5.1 Do Machine cleaning by using dry cloth.


5.2 Do oiling and greasing to the moving parts.
5.3 Take job card from the supervisor. (Inspection Report. SVI/8.5.1/F-01)
5.4 Take material from the store and check for its size.
a. Assemble the first piece as per instruction sheet.
b. Check fitment of Part assembly.
c. Check sample for the proper finish, like bur, damage etc.
5.5 Do inspection for the first piece as per the specifications.
5.6 If size is ok then start the further assembly process and record on the job card
5.7 Do in-process inspection and record 5no. after every 4Hrs per day on the Inspection report.

5.8 Check for the cut, damage, bend, dent & surface finish and size of the jobs. If Jobs is not up to
the mark then reject it and record accordingly.
5.9 After completion of job handover material to packing department with job card.
5.10 If any problem then contact supervisor.

PROCEDURE FOR ASSEMBLY

5.11 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

a. Ensure surrounding area is clean and free from dust and oil.

b. Refer Job specification for the job operation.

c. Job taken for the process must be properly inspected.

d. Remove wire connections or switch off the mains during any maintenance.

e. Do not put hand or any object in moving parts of machine.

f. Switch of the machine, if any abnormal sound appears

g. Always use safety equipments where ever necessary.
