Reading Comprehension
Task 1: Read the given passage at least 3 times and fill the star each time you read.

Reading Contest
There was a reading contest in Ali’s school. Every day each student would take a
book home to read with their Mom or Dad. Their parents sent a note saying they
had read the book. The class who read the most books would win.
Ali’s class really wanted to win the contest. There are twenty kids in
his class. Each kid read ten books. That made two hundred books!
Ali’s class won the contest. His classroom got a new red bookcase as
a prize.

Task 2: Answer the following questions in your homework booster


1. How many kids are there in the class?
2. How many books did each kid read?
3. Who won the contest?
4. What was the prize for winning the contest?

Task 3: Read Page no 14 -15 of Student’s Resource Book with your


parents. Follow the instructions carefully and make your rainbow
kababs. You can use any fruits of your choice. Bring your fruit kebabs
for lunch on Friday, 26th August 2022.

Task: 4 Write the given high frequency words 2 times in your homework booster and learn the
spelling for Monday's spelling test.
