CSU602A Centralized System Management Unit Product Description

1 Overview
The Centralized System Management Unit CSU602A is an advanced digital controlling
and management unit for telecom power system. This management unit can manage
ZTE super high efficiency rectifier and solar PU. Through its rich data interfaces and
powerful data processing function, it can manage the grid power, solar power, DG,
battery, air-conditioner, security and site environment conditions in real time to ensure
the stable power supply and site operation.

Besides these, CSU also can provide multiple communication interfaces such as RS232,
RS485 and RJ45, and supports TCP/IP, GPRS/3G/4G and other networking modes for
remote management function.

2 Function
 Management

 Manages intelligent SmartLi for flexible applications, including, SmartLi and

VRLA battery hybrid use, battery anti-theft and voltage boosting for remote
power supply.

 Provides battery set discharging, charging, and test management.

 Controls the automatic sleep function of rectifiers to save energy.

 Supports the export of historical records to a USB flash drive.

 Supports data query, parameter configuration, and system control on the LCD
screen through operations on keys.

 Supports user permission configuration.

 Alarms

The CSU raises an alarm and provides protection when the power system is faulty.

 Maintenance Management

Supports parameter setting, exporting history records, and upgrading program in batch
through a USB flash disk.

 System Upgrade

The CSU supports system upgrade through a USB flash drive or the Web page.

 Detection

 The CSU collects the operation data of the power system in real time, and detects
the operational status of the power system.

 The CSU reports data to and receives instructions from the network management
center to detect the power system remotely.

 Web Access

After the CSU is connected to the network, the Chrome browser can be used to access
the CSU to remotely query real-time data and status, obtain alarm information, start or
stop the device, and charge or discharge the device.

3 Product Architecture
The following figure shows the architecture of CSU602A. CSU602A&UIB is basic unit for
the whole power system centralized detection and management, and SWCU is functional
unit for GPRS/3G/4G wireless networking. Moreover, there are many sensors accessed
for option, such as fuel level sensor, energy meter, flood, humidity, smoke, etc.

4.1 CSU602A

Interface Function

Supports HTTPS, SNMP, and YD/T 1104 (customized for

RJ45 Ethernet
ZTE's wireless products).
Supports a USB only, and does not identify any SD card,
mobile hard disk, MP3, MP4, or other pluggable storage

The file system of the USB flash drive must be FAT.

4.2 UIB Board

The UIB provides input/output relays, environment detection interfaces, and

communication interfaces.
