"Show Talent" Contract

Knob Hill Middle School is holding a "Show Your Talent" event where students will perform talents in their homerooms on September 11th and 18th. Students can perform individually or in groups for a maximum of 3 minutes. At school, students will perform their talent and self-evaluate. At home, students will prepare and rehearse their presentation. Parents are asked to see their child's presentation and provide positive feedback. Students will be evaluated on consistently engaging their audience, demonstrating their talent and knowledge, using vocabulary correctly, and answering questions confidently. Students can complete an extension for a mastery grade. The contract must be returned by August 29th with student, parent, and teacher signatures.

Due Dates: Wednesday, September 11 and Wednesday, September 18

Project Description:
In homerooms the student performs both a talent and something they know. The student has the
choice of performing in a group or alone.

Individually, students will perform a talent and self-evaluate their presentation.

Collaboratively, students have the choice to


present their talent in a group.

School Portion:
 Student will perform the talent in a
maximum 3-minute presentation.

Home Portion:
 Student will prepare the presentation
and rehearse.
