1. Is it necessary to for a teacher to learn curriculum development?

 Yes, because as a teacher it is one of our duties, curriculum will be our blue print as we teach, guide
and assess our students as well as it’s a bread and butter for the teacher to focus on teaching and
learning process.

2. As a teacher you are considered as curriculum specialist, what are the role of a curriculum specialist?

 The role of curriculum specialist is vital in educational filed because it is the entire learning
experience of a student, and one of its roles is the implementation of the content it is the teaching an
learning process, another is the assessment or evaluation upon which each student had learned.

3. Compare our curriculum prior, during and after the pandemic.

 Elementary Level
Before Pandemic – Young children are actively learning because of its usually learning
process, classroom set up, and meeting with their classmates and teachers regularly.
During Pandemic – We were all immobilized because of the precautions that the government
implemented, but still learning is a continuous process so we embraced the pandemic and
learned new modality of learning that will some how help the learner to continue on their
studies, through modular and blended learning.
After Pandemic – The teaching and learning process became very flexible because of its
benefits that we learned from the pandemic, it’s a breeze to the teacher as well as to the learner.

 Junior High School Level


Before Pandemic- The students’ traditional way of learning brings everyone a smooth sailing
process, productive and effective, as well as resolved issues immediately.
During Pandemic – Teacher and students adopt the new era of learning and its advantages
and disadvantages. The disadvantages are students need internet access, or mobile phone for
online classes, and teachers were exposed to corona virus because they need to go to school
with precautions just to distribute the modules. The advantages are the students will stay at
home and protected as well as still learning and teachers too can work from home and stay
with their perspective family.
After Pandemic – It is another adjustment for everyone to go back to the normal
implementation, the teacher and learner be able to cope up to the new normal.
