ABSTRACT
Once students are identified as being at-risk for emotional difficulties, the school must have a
strategy in place to link young people with effective services and support. Students in senior high school
who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues ought to be
connected to these programs. Discussions on the numerous challenges students faced this past year
frequently center on stress since it may be challenging to maintain emotional control and can cause you
to lose focus, both of which can have an impact on how effectively children learn. Since it improves our
general welfare, maintaining healthy mental health is crucial. Our mental health has a direct bearing on
our ability to learn new things, understand concepts, and acquire new skills.
The study aimed to assess the level of students perceived stress and coping stress skills in STI
College Balayan among Grade 11 and Grade l2 learners in Senior High School.
The researchers used mixed method strategy through form, interviews, and observations for the
data collection of this study. After evaluating all the gathered data, the results show the students have
many challenges on their emotional health during their senior high school year and has a mental health
management and techniques that they follow to cope stress. The study describes the need for more mental
health professionals to be available in schools. Implications for micro include the need for more mental
health staff including counselors.
