Learning standard: 4.2.4 Describe people and objects using suitable 3.2.2 Understand specific information and
statements details of simple texts of one or two
paragraphs
Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to create at least 5 suitable statements for the quiz.
Objectives
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to transfer at least 5 information from the table
into statement forms.
Teaching aids LCD CCE: Language
Pupils are introduced to target languages. Ex: once, twice, three times and every day.
Pre Lesson
1. Pupils are introduced to ‘Daniel’s daily routine timetable’. Pupils are asked to observe the table.
2. Pupils are asked a few questions and guided to write sentences based on the table. Ex: How often does
Daniel go for his Art class?
Lesson Development 3. Pupils are guided to create 5 statements on their own for a True/False game based on the table shown. Pupils
create a quiz in groups.
4. Pupils pass their quiz to the other group and completes the quiz.

Pupils return the quiz to the original group for assessment and pupils get to know their points.
Post Lesson
*Pupils are asked to bring colour pencils, coloured papers and pictures of families for the next lesson.

Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to analyse the poem by filling in at least 6 blanks about the
poem correctly.
Objectives
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and create a diorama / triorama based
teacher’s instructions.
Teaching aids LCD CCE: Language
Pupils are asked to silently read the poem.
Pre Lesson
1. Teacher recites the poem for pupils to listen.
2. Teacher recites the poem with pupils guided with actions.
3. Pupils receive the ‘Let’s Analyse’ worksheet. / Pupils can copy the table from the board.
4. Pupils analyse the poem by filling in the worksheet based on the poem.
Lesson Development 5. Pupils can create a diorama in groups using a shoe box for each group. / Pupils each create a foldable and
combine four foldables into one triorama as shown in the blog. Pupils use the stationeries and materials that
they have brought.

How do the girls feel at the end of the story? Why?
Lesson Development 2. Anna and Sandy’s Strip Book template is provided to each pupil.
3. Based on the story they have listened; they sequence the sentence strips and complete the strip book
template.

Pupils display their Anna and Sandy’s Strip Book.
