Introduction

According to H. Cortnee (CNN Producer Report, 2016), “Filipinos can’t live

without rice. Hence, rice is part of our culture. Every single Filipino family has rice in

their pantry and is cooked during meals. I do eat rice at least once or twice a day.”

Part of the Filipino culture is the love for eating. A more particular tradition on food is

the Filipino’s love for rice. Rice as the staple food in the country is and is the meal of

most Filipinos, three times a day; breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Omoishi rice is a business that the researchers make for the purpose to serving

the valued customers in a new product dish that promotes a healthy living kind of

food, it is presumed that this food will be enjoyed not only by the adults but also by

the young ones. The researchers innovated the normal kind of omurice in a fusion of

Filipino dishes such as pork giniling, pork tocino and beef tapa. Nowadays people

would choose an artificially made food product that is less healthy and has less

nutritional content over the conventional food that is said to be “good for our healthy

lifestyle” (Help Guide, 2019). Omoishi rice promotes a healthy and convenient way

of eating by introducing a complete meal that would benefit the customer’s dietary

plans.

The products can benefit the students because they are cheap and can reach the

expected food budget of the customer. Because most of the customers are wise

consumers, Omoishi rice gives satisfaction to all consumers.
