A. Telling Daily Habits

I live in the capital city of Bali, Bagus gets up at half past seven every
Denpasar. I get up at six o’clock in the day, and has his breakfast at eight
morning, and have breakfast at seven o’clock and starts working at half pat
o’clock. I study from 8 am until nine. He works in an office; he has two
12.30pm. I go to and from school by secretaries and two telephones. He
motorbike. I always do my home works doesn’t work on Saturdays and
from 7 until 9pm and I go to bed at Sundays. He likes meeting people and
10pm. I really like my program and very sociable.

Marry : “What time do you go to bed, James?”
James : “I go to bed at 10.000.”
Marry : “And before that, what do you do?”
James : “I watch TV or do my home-work.”
Marry : “Do you always do your home-work at night?”
James : “Not always. Sometimes I do my home-work in the afternoon.
It depends on how much homework I’ve got.”
Marry : “I see. So you sometimes go to bed at different times.”
James : “That’s true.”
Dialogue 2
Robert : “Do you usually go to work by car, Jane?”
Jane : “Yes I do, except when my car is broken. So I go to work by public
transport.”
Robert : “Do you like that?
Jane : “Not really, because it’s not economical and it takes a lot of time,
too.”
Robert : “How about if I take you to work?”
Jane : “I’d love to, but would it be trouble for you?”
Robert : “No, not at all, because I always drive pass your house on my way to
the office.
Questions
1. What does James do in the evening? Do his homework or waching TV
2. What does he do after that? He goes to bed

4. How does Jane go to work? She using a car or public transportation if her car is
broken
5. When does she go to work by public transport? When her car broken
6. Does he like to go to work by public transport? No he don’t really like it.
Why/ Why not? Because it’s not economical and it takes a lot of time, too.
Language Summary

To answer those questions, you say :

In the afternoon, I do my homework.

To ask about the time of somebody’s particular activity, you say:

To answer those questions, you say :

Look at the picture below and describe what the person does from the morning until night.

quarter past two, and than he has his lunch at thirty past two. He playing volleyball at
three o’clock with his friends, after that he take a bath at thirty past four. And than he
watch TV from five o’clock until seven o’clock. He start study at thirty past seven until ten
o’clock and he went to his bed at quarter past ten.
