Job Spec: Quantitative Analyst

About your role:


As the quantitative analyst, you will be responsible for enhancing our existing quantitative portfolios and
improving workflow. Your core focus areas include:

• Researching trading ideas and developing new high-/med-frequency crypto trading strategies
• Cleansing and transforming trading-related data, performing back-testing and conducting statistical
analyses
• Exploring valuable data sets and assisting in data feeds setup
• Improving existing trade execution, risk management, strategy performance and portfolio management
methodology
• Automating trading tasks and assisting in automated trading operations

Skills and Preferred Qualifications:


Required:

• 1 – 3 years experience in high-/mid-frequency proprietary trading;


• Proficiency in Python or R and the libraries/packages for quantitative analysis and data mining;
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix command line;
• Willingness to learn new things and strive for steady improvement;
• Ability to work in a team of international co-workers;
• Preference will be given to candidates with high integrity, team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility,
and passion for quantitative trading in the crypto space;
Strong academic background in a quantitative subject, e.g. Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
Statistics, Engineering or related disciplines;
• CQF is advantageous
The following will be considered a positive in your application:
• Experience with crypto exchange APIs;
• Experience in processing vast financial market data;
• Experience in market microstructure, back-testing and developing algorithmic trading strategies/tools;
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and time series databases (KDB/Q,
InfluxDB, DolphinDB);
• Experience with AWS and GitLab;
