The modified map uses conditional formatting to show increases in RED. Axis changes are
not by calculation, they are just a logical next step.

The reason for presenting the information like this is to show what changes are made, how
big the changes are and where on the map the changes are made.

If you wish to use this information, don’t just use my maps. Use the maps from your own
ECU and use the calculators as a method of changing your maps. This method has several
advantages.
There is less room for error.
Changes are easy to see.
New/further changes are easy to make.

The information here is very basic. Any real remap needs fine tuning on a rolling road or by
doing lots of logs with VCDS.

Note.
Injection quantity as Duration is unchanged and Injection timing as Start of Injection is
unchanged as these do not need changing for a basic 10 – 20% power increase.
The N75 duty cycle map should not be touched for a basic remap.

The EGR map has been left unchanged. Possible ways to change this are available
elsewhere on this site.

Important.
This information is based on an engine without Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). It will apply to
a DPF engine with the DPF disabled but NOT to an engine fitted with a DPF.
