1. The value of a house worth £350 000 is appreciating at the rate of 10% per
annum.
In how many minimum years will its value be increased over £620 000. (3)

12. Jun has two rolls of cotton fabric. One roll has 72 meters on it; the other has 90
metres on it. He wants to cut the rolls to make pieces of equal length without
wasting any of it. What is the longest possible length the pieces can be? (3)
13. A box measures 24 cm by 18 cm by 15 cm. The box is to be filled with cubes
of equal size. What is the length of the side of the largest cube that could be
