SPEAKING - Advice options

- Hey and how is your family?

- They have been fine, my little brother had some health
problems a few weeks ago
- I'm sorry to hear that, is your brother feeling better?
- Yes, it's just that with studies and his friends he's been stressed
- Oh sure! I remember when we were kids and relationships
were complicated, do you have better relationships at work?
- Yes, I'm glad to have a good work team
- I understand you, having a good work team improves the work
environment, makes it easier to support your family with that
money, right?
- Of course, but with everything today that is very expensive.
SPEAKING TASK 2 -
Should everyone turn off their cell phones after 8 p.m.?
Mónica

I am against it; I think that the cell phone can

continue to be very useful even if it is already
night

Erick

I dont agree with it because I think that sometimes

people needs to comunicate for reasons like
homework that has to be done or when you go out
and you need to ask someone for a rideI
SPEAKING - Rules and regulations
What rules and regulations do you have to follow at work or school? And in
your house or apartment?

In my school I must follow the no smoking rule. In my house I must follow

the rule of arriving home before 10 o'clock.

Which rules would you like to change or get rid of completely? Why?

I would like to remove the rule of not eating during class, because there
are times when there is no time to eat

What new rules would you like to introduce? Why?

I would like to add a no homework rule in schools, as I feel they take up

too much time and are sometimes not necessary

Our new rule is: “No homework.”

SPEAKING - Rules from your past

Rule 1 Rule 2
As a child we had to sleep before 9pm When I was little, if I didn't eat the whole
plate, I couldn't play.
