The Statement of the Problem

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Playing Online

games and student performance among Grade 11 students of Bodiongan College.

Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions.

1. What is the profile of students in Bodiongan Collegel in terms of:

1.1 age;

1.2 strand;

1.3 gender?

2. What is the Level of Playing Online Games among grade 11 Students of Bodiongan

College in terms of:

2.1. Addiction;

2.2 Need for Advancement;

2.3. Need for Mastering the Mechanics;

2.4 Need for Relationship; and

2.5 Need for Escapism?

3. What is the Level of Student Performance in Bodiongan College in terms of:


3.1 Grade?

4. Is there a significant relationship between playing online games and student

performance among Grade 11 students of Bodiongan College.
