Booking Direct with Silversea gives you peace of mind. Our local tour operators are fully insured and have been
comprehensively vetted. In the unlikely event of issues with a Silversea tour, we assume responsibility and the ship will
wait for our delayed shore excursion. These are important factors when comparing value. Please bear in mind as we
traverse many far reaching destinations, the local infrastructure varies and is beyond our control. Road conditions and
vehicles available locally may not be up to standards we are accustomed to. Guides and drivers may speak with a heavy
accent at times depending on the port of call. Be assured however that at Silversea, we contract only the best tours and
best operators available at each destination. Please Note: Silversea reserves the right to make any changes or modify a
tour in case of unforeseen circumstances and/or to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.

The "Shore Excursions Programme" is subject to shore excursion availability in each port and guests’ first choice may not
be available. The first shore excursion booked in a single day / port, among the shore excursions bookable and available
within the Programme, will be considered included, while additional excurisons will be charged at full fare. The Shore
Excursion Programme does not apply in the embarking and disembarking port. In case guests' first choice in a single port
is waitlisted, Silversea recommends guests choose an alternative option, which will be considered confirmed. Should the
first choice subsequently confirmed as guests will be notified about the status of the waitlisted tour and have the option to
make a final choice on MySilversea. More excursions are available for purchase at full price. Silversea strongly advises
booking shore excursions to avoid disappointment. The deadline for booking Shore Excursions on MySilversea is 2 days
prior departure date. Silversea reserves the right to cancel any excursions including free shore excursions. No credit or
other compensation will be given if free shore excursions are unavailable, cancelled or not utilized. All shore excursions
including those offered on a complimentary basis are operated by independent operators over whom Silversea has no

Silversea operates an online reservation option, allowing guests to reserve their shore excursions at leisure prior to their
cruise. In order to access this, please log on to MySilversea (my.silversea.com) up to 48 hours prior to your sail date. If you
have reserved your shore excursion online, you will receive further information upon embarkation onboard.
ON BOARD RESERVATIONS
You may also reserve and purchase your shore excursions. You will find a shore excursion booking form in your suite and
at the Shore Concierge desk. Select the shore excursions in which you wish to participate, then leave the completed and
signed form at the Shore Concierge desk prior to the booking deadline indicated. Shore Excursion tickets will be
delivered to your suite and your selected excursions charged to your shipboard account. Overland and exclusive
excursions must be pre-paid by credit card through your reservation agents. If still available they may also be purchased
on board. Shore excursions require a minimum number of participants in order to operate as described. If this minimum
number is not met, Silversea reserves the right to offer the programme at a different rate or to cancel the specific
departure.

CHILDREN ON TOUR
To ensure the safety of our younger guests, participation by children in certain shore excursions may be restricted.
Children up to the age of 8 years old are only permitted to participate in suitable Silver Shore Excursions and the shuttle
service if the vehicles are equipped with the correct safety harness and seating equipment. Such harnesses' and secure

seating cannot be guaranteed. Alternately, guests may use their own approved safety seat, booster seat or harness as
long as they are compatible with the local touring vehicle and can properly secure the young guest. Silversea reserves the

VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY CHARGES
Please note that photography at some museums, sites and monuments and/or the use of video cameras may not be
allowed or may incur a charge. These charges are not included in the tour price and are at guests’ own expense. Further
details will be in the detailed shore excursion description and please note section. Please ensure to review these in detail
prior to departing on your shore excursion.
SHOPPING STOPS
While our organised excursions are not generally geared to the serious shopper, some shore excursions allow for short
shopping stops as indicated in the shore excursion description. In the interest of all participants, guests should adhere to
the allotted time and return to the tour vehicle promptly as advised by the tour guide or ship’s escort. Please Note: The
selection of shops is generally left to the discretion of the tour operator. Silversea does require that establishments be
reputable, of general interest to our guests and offer quality goods. However, all purchases are the responsibility of the

Flåm - Norway
INCLUDED EXCURSION
SOG-A / The Iconic Flåm Railway Difficulty

Embrace the exquisite natural beauty that Flåm has to offer with its environs from a unique new perspective during this
panoramic, half-day excursion aboard the Flåm Railroad.
Scenic Train Ride
Depart the pier for a short 984-foot (about 300-metre) walk to the Flåm Railway Station. The Flåm Railroad measures 12.4 miles
(20 kilometres) in length, and ascends to the 2,844 foot-high (867-metre-high) Myrdal Station. After boarding the train, take a
one-hour ride along the Flåm River. See the Rjoande Waterfall, which cascades down 459 feet (140 metres), and the impressive
peak of Vidmesnosi, which rises to a height of 4,163 feet (1,269 metres).
Naali Tunnel & Myrdalsberg
Next, pass through the longest tunnel at Naali, then the climb of 984-foot-high (300 metre-high) Myrdalsberg. In order to
ascend it, the line is built on four levels. From here, you can view three of them, with the train standing on the fourth. Enjoy the
sights of the old road constructed in 1895-96 in connection with the building of the Bergen Oslo Railroad that opened in 1909.
The road ascends the steep hills in 21 narrow hairpin bends with a lovely waterfall adjacent to it.
Kjosfossen Waterfall & Vatnahalsen
A brief photo stop is made at the 305-foot-high (93-metre-high) Kjosfossen Waterfall. En route, the train slows down at the
most scenic viewpoints. Upon arrival in Vatnahalsen, disembark the train for an 80-minute stay at the Vatnahalsen Hotel and
grounds. Walk around the hotel, takes some photos and savour some coffee, tea and waffles inside.
Following your visit, re-board the train for the return ride to the Flåm Railway Station, then commence the approximate 984-
foot (about 300-metre) walk back to the pier.
This tour involves a minimal amount of walking, including the approximately 984-foot (about 300-metre) walk between the
pier and the train station, with steps to negotiate getting on and off the train.There are gravel surfaces at the entrance to the
hotel with 10 steps to negotiate; the hotel is not wheelchair accessible. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited
mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair.Upon return to the pier, guests must immediately embark the ship.As the train
must adhere to a fixed schedule, we are unable to accommodate guests who arrive later than the designated departure time

UNESCO World Heritage Site and branch of the mighty Sognefjord. Upon arrival in Gudvangen, a short photo stop is made to
marvel at your surrounds.
Nærøy Valley, Glashamaren, Oppheim Lake and Tvinde Waterfall
Next, re-board your coach and continue up the Nærøy Valley. Drive along the Salmon River, then past Glashamaren, where the
road winds its way up the mountain in front of you and leads to the Stalheim Hotel. However, your current route takes you
through the tunnels that pass underneath the mountain. Leaving the tunnels, continue along the road leading to Voss and
Bergen. From here, pass by beautiful Oppheim Lake, then through woodlands and green farmland before approaching the
spectacular Tvinde Waterfall. Upon arrival, take a short stroll amidst the fresh air for a closer look at the falls, which cascade
down the mountainside. Afterward, re-board your coach and head back towards the Stalheim Hotel, which is perched on a cliff
overlooking the Nærøy Valley.
Stalheim Hotel and Museum
After refreshments served at the hotel, head to the terrace for splendid panoramic vistas overlooking the valley, or browse the
hotel's shop and many antiques on display. Some time is also made available to explore the owner's open-air museum, which
consists of 25 16th- and 17th-century farm buildings gathered from various parts of the country, as well as the stately,
beautifully-furnished Lekve House (comment. It will be a guided walk with visit to some houses, guests can not visit the houses
themselves). Following your visit, re-board your coach and commence the return drive to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 875 yards (about 800 metres), at times over
uneven, gravel and grassy surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and ten steps at the
Stalheim Museum; a ramp is available at the museum. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but is not
wheelchair-accessible nor recommended for guests with a fear of tunnels. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable
clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection and a waterproof jacket or coat from the ship.Due to

the way. Nærøyfjord, named for the Norse god "Njord," the God of the Seafarer and the sea.
Fjord Cruise from Flam to Gudvangen
Board your watercraft and receive a safety briefing before heading out for your fjord cruise. Sit back and relax in the heated
cabin or step out on deck to get a better view of the snow-covered mountains that tower 1,800 metres above sea-level.
Scenic drive from Gudvangen to Flam
Arrive in Gudvangen and transfer to a coach for a scenic drive via Flåm and Aurland. Drive through a network of tunnels and
then alongside the imposing fjords, winding your way to the Stegastein viewpoint for an incredible, panoramic vista all around,
and own at the charming village of Aurland 650 metres below you.
Make your return drive to Flåm (45 minutes), enjoying the magnificent views over the awe-inspiring Sognefjord. Arrive at the
pier to return to the ship.

walk. Hereafter coffee/tea and Norwegian waffles will await you in the restaurant at the top of the mountain.
After heading down by gondola, enjoy the scenic drive back towards Flåm.

The first arm of the Sognefjord you travel through is the Aurlandsfjord , which stretches 17km, beginning in the village of Flam
and ending at Mount Beitelen. This wide branch of the main fjord offers spectacular views of snow-covered peaks, waterfalls
and farms that appear the same as they have for centuries or more.
Nærøyfjord
The Aurlandsfjord gives way to the Nærøyfjord, named for the Norse god "Njord," the God of the Seafarer and the sea.
UNESCO has dedicated this arm of the Sognefjord as a World Heritage Site for its exquisite natural beauty. Glacial lakes
surround evergreen forests amidst jagged mountains and sheer cliff walls. Speed along past waterfalls and free-flowing rivers

Your crew plan to make many stops along the way to discover the natural beauty, culture and history of this striking region. At
the conclusion of your thrilling ride, make your way back to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of activity and good physical condition, including the physical ability to
sustain a fast and often bumpy boat ride, making this tour less recommended for guests with limited mobility and not
accessible for guests who utilise walkers or a wheelchair. This tour is not recommended for those with neck or back
conditions. Minimum age to participate is 12, and there is a weight restriction of approximately 300 lbs per guest. Guests are

Ålesund
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 40-minute drive through Ålesund, a city built in the Art Nouveau, or 'Jugend' style
following a catastrophic fire in 1904. One of few Art Nouveau towns in the world, Ålesund is home to an atmosphere and
distinct character embraced by inhabitants and visitors alike. Whilst driving from the harbour through the Art Nouveau centre
of the town, marvel at the amazing decorations and colourful facades.
Borgund Stone Church and Sunnmøre Open Air Folk Museum
Next, continue on to Borgund, which was the largest trading centre in Sunnmøre during the Viking Era, then proceed to the
Sunnmøre Open Air Folk Museum. Upon arrival, visit some of the old houses and the museum's boat collection.
Mount Aksla and City Centre
Afterward, re-board your coach for the drive up Mount Aksla, which rises high above the city centre and offers splendid
panoramic views over the town, skerries and Sunnmøre Mountains. At the conclusion of your visit, you may opt to re-board
your coach for the short drive back to the pier, or walk down the 418-step pathway leading to the city centre, and return to the
ship on-foot.

Ålesund
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive through Ålesund, a city built in the Art Nouveau style following a
catastrophic fire in 1904. One of few Art Nouveau towns in Norway, Ålesund is home to an atmosphere and distinct character
embraced by inhabitants and visitors alike. Whilst driving from the harbour through the Art Nouveau centre of the town, marvel
at the amazing decorations and colourful facades.
Mount Aksla and Giske Island and Church
Afterward, re-board your coach for the drive up Mount Aksla, which rises high above the city centre and offers splendid
panoramic views over the town, skerries and Sunnmøre Mountains. Leaving the city, your drive continues through some of the
sub-sea tunnels connecting the islands with the mainland.
Next, proceed to the island of Giske, the seat of power during the Viking Age. Upon arrival, an external visit is made to the
12th-century Giske Church, a Romanesque marble church built as a private chapel for the famous Giske family.
Godøy Island and Alnes Village and Lighthouse
Following your visit, head to the island of Godøy and charming village of Alnes. Here, you can take a stroll through the village
or climb the lighthouse for some spectacular panoramic views. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and
commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.

at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, and 87 steps for guests who opt to walk

ALE-F / Hiking Sugar Lump Mountain Difficulty

to the summit of Sugarlump Mountain.
Ålesund, Hessa Island, Sugarlump Mountain, Guided Hike
Depart the pier for the short drive through Ålesund en route to the base of Sugarlump Mountain, located on the island of
Hessa approximately 2.5 miles (about four kilometres) from the city centre. Upon arrival, begin your one-hour, approximately
1.24-mile (about two kilometre) hike along a narrow nature trail. Your guided hiking tour starts at a height of approximately
164 feet (about 50 metres) above sea level, and ascends to the summit, which stands at approximately 997 feet (about 304
metres) above sea level.
Sugarlump Mountain Summit, Ålesund, Borgundfjord, Sunnmøre Alps, Open Sea, Islands
Afterward, hike back down to the base of Sugarlump Mountain, then re-board your coach for the short drive back to the pier.

Returning to the city you will drive past the Nidaros Cathedral, Scandinavia's largest medieval building.The construction of the
cathedral started in 1070 AD and is built over the grave of St. Olav. Therefore, the cathedral is an important destination for
Christian pilgrims.The building has been destroyed several times by fire but has always been rebuilt. The oldest part of the
cathedral dates back to the 12th century.

In the Main House at Ringve Music Museum talented guides will take you on a journey back in time to the splendour of

The Gråkallbanen line has operated since 1924 on an 8.8 km narrow gauge track from the city center to the suburbs of
Trondheim.On the tram you will be treated to a local refreshment of a beer and salmon wrap, while you enjoy spectacular
views of the 3rd largest city in Norway.You will ride by green parks and head uphill through residential areas and into the
outskirts of town. Pass by lovely, wooden houses and attractive gardens, and take in a splendid view of the city below with the
River Nid running in wide curves.
Sverresli Viewpoint
Your tram ride ends at Lian Station where you will transfer to your motorcoach and make a brief photo stop at Sverresli

Kristiansten Fortress

Board your boat for a one-hour cruise taking you along the fjord and past Munkholmen Island.Depending on the water level

Åndalsnes Village, Romsdalsfjord, Rauma Railway Station
Depart the pier for the short, guided walk to the Rauma Railway Station. Åndalsnes is a beautiful village situated on the
Romsdalsfjord, and terminus for the Rauma Railway line connecting the Romsdal district with eastern Norway and the capital,
Oslo. Åndalsnes Village was bombed and almost destroyed during World War II, but it has been rebuilt along modern lines.
The scenery is a dramatic; high mountains with jagged peaks surrounds the village.
Train-Ride, River Rauma, Mount Romsdalshorn, Trolltindane, Troll Wall
Upon arrival at the Rauma Railway Station, your tour begins with a panoramic train-ride. Your route follows the renowned River
Rauma, which abounds with salmon and has been a favourite amongst English anglers for more than a century. To the left, take
in splendid views of the approximately 5,085-foot-high (about 1,550-metre-high) Mount Romsdalshorn. To the right is the
Trolltindane, whose towering peaks reach a height of approximately 6,168 feet (about 1800 meters), and the Trollveggen, or
'Troll Wall', whose vertical, overhanging wall is over 3,281 feet (about 1,000 metres) in height. A photo stop is made here on
the return journey.
Lesjaskog Lake, Waterfalls, Kylling Bridge, Bjorli Railway Station, Valley, Troll Wall
Next, continue through the fascinating landscape along the River Rauma that descends from the Lesjaskog Lake, and forms
many attractive waterfalls on the way. From here, cross over the Kylling Bridge, which offers a dramatic view down into the
canyon approximately 180 feet (about 55 metres) below, with a foaming river at the bottom. Built exclusively from natural
stone, this bridge is an impressive work of engineering. Upon arrival at the Bjorli Railway Station, which stands approximately
1,883 feet (about 574 metres) above sea level, board a coach and drive down one of Norway's most beautiful valleys, which
features impressive peaks rising straight up from the valley floor. A photo stop is made at the 'Troll Wall' massif, which is
popular among mountain-climbers. Afterward, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.

the chance to experience Norwegian culture for yourself. Your host encourages questions, as the farm owners are passionate
about sharing how life in this challenging (yet scenically beautiful) place has changed over the centuries.
Local Tasting & Svele Baking
After a tour, enjoy a tasting of local specialties made on the farm as well as produce grown here. Try the svele (a traditional,
thick pancake), or some apple or blueberry pie, along with locally-made cheese and homemade jams. For food-lovers, the
highlight of this tour is learning how to bake your own svele.
Take some time to wander the agricultural farm on your own, taking pictures, visiting the farm shop, the local art gallery, or just

path is well marked with signposts and red marks painted on trees and rocks.
Rampestreken View Point
From the Rampestreken view point, enjoy a 360 degrees view over the fjord, moutains and your ship.
Please note: Thistour requires an extensive amount of activity and is recommended only for those guests who are physically
fit and experienced at hiking.Wear hiking boots, dressing in layers and bringing along sun screen or rain gear if necessary. A

Built in 1840, the house served as the office and home of the local sheriff. Since 1870, Skårhaug has been owned by the same

Ferry Ride
Leave the pier by motorcoach for a short ride to Lote, where you will board a local ferry to Andra. Enjoy a brief 10 minutes ferry
ride across the fjord, before continuing your scenic motorcoach drive for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the
Nordfjord Folks Museum.
Nordfjord Folks Musuem
At the Nordfjord Folks Musuem, follow a guided walking tour of the open air exhibitions, before enjoying some time at leisure
to explore the site, browse the souvenir shop and the cafeteria.
You will view traditional Norwegian buildings dating back to 17th, 18th and 19th centiries, such as cottages, storehouses,
barns, stables, dairy farming and rural houses as well as a school, a dyeing fabric workshop and a forge.
Vereide Church
Leave by motorcaoch to the white stoned Vereide Church, built in 12th Century. Some time will be available to take pictures of
the exterior of the church, before your scenic drive back to Andra, for the ferry ride to Lote, before arriving back at the pier. .

Eid Walking Tour
Your tour starts on foot at the pier in Eid: see where the river of Eid is merging into the fjord. Pass by several memory stones
where the locals pay their respect to the soldiers who died in different wars. Other sites that you will discover during your stroll
are: the old wooden houses with green gardens in between, the church of Eid, the Opera House.
Sagastad Viking Centre
Following the approximately 40 minutes guided walk, stop at Sagastad, the new Viking "knowledge centre",. The central
exhibit is a replica of one of the world's largest Viking ship, the 30-metre long Myklebustskip. Your guide will take you back to
the Middle Ages and tell you all about the Viking culture, including mystical rituals.

Tvinnefossen Waterfall HIke
Leave the bus and begin your Norwegian approximately 1.5 km long hike to reach the Tvinnefossen waterfall. Your hike will
first follow a gravel path through farming area overlooking the fjord and the surrounding mountains. After passing the old
village school the landscape will change and you will continue through the forest. The path concludes at Tvinnefossen
waterfall, where a photo stop will be made. The return walk will follow the same path.
During the return drive a photo stop along the Panorama Road will be made.
Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 3 kilometres, at times over uneven and

After lift-off, soar into the Jostedal Glacier area and marvel at the spectacular panoramic views over the rugged mountains,
beautiful valleys, sparkling lakes, and tranquil fjords. Finally, fly over the Jostedal Glacier itself before returning to the helipad,
with a splendid view of the Nordfjord en route. Upon arrival at the helipad, re-board your coach and commence the short drive
back to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking, with some steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and
board/de-board the helicopter. This tour is not suitable for guests with a fear of heights, guests prone to airsickness, guests
with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Children between the age 3-16 must be accompanied by an adult.
