Present Perfect Tense

We use this tense when we want to talk about actions that started in the past and continue to
the present, actions or events that happened sometime during a person's life.

The Present Perfect Tense is formed using the following structure:

Affirmative: Subject + Have / Has +Verb in Past Participle

He
She has written a poem.

Negative: Subject + Haven't / Hasn't + Verb in Past Participle

You haven’t /have not studied for the exam.

She hasn’t /has not written a poem.

Interrogative: Have / Has + Subject + Verb Past Participle
