1. Damage Report Summary & Minor Set Back


Date: 20/06/2023
After finishing clearing & grubbing, we were moving Komati PC210 from Nemda back to Hindit for Gravelling.
However, while the machine was on its way, the operator (Davis James) and the spotter (Gibson Alice) we held at
gunpoint at Nipa station, were threatened & bitten by a group of boys from Nemda.

In the report for Ferman Muds Lol (Nemda community rep) and Kelly Hembe (PRO), he stated that the boys want
their improvement payment to be settled from Somar Ipa – Nipa Station/Nembi. Despite explaining the process to
them that these things will take time, they were ignorant and went ahead to take matters into their hands.
Furthermore, he stated that some of the guys are politically motivated.

The improvement payment is revised and evaluated by the evaluator Peter Vagi.

2. Stock Pile
 Stockpile continues and stopped working on 22/062023.
 The machine hose was cut by a drunk head from Herep a couple of weeks back and on that day it
burst causing the machine to cease work.
 The hose is brought to Hagen to be fixed.
 Machine: Hyundai 210-7
 Location: Pulim 3, Quarry

3. Bosavi Project.
 The road from Pimaka to Inu High School Junction is in very bad condition.
 We only rely on the floater for the IPZ Limited truck to move the Dozer from Kaso – Waro station.
 The risk is other trucks are too low and the machine can topple over when manoeuvring over the huge potholes.

4. Recommendations/Request
 Requesting to Move one of the excavators from Kaso to Pulim 3 for gravelling and/or pavement.
 Requesting to move one of the excavator machines to commence work in Herep.
