    Read the following:

    1. G.O.Ms.No.62 MA & UD Department dtated 28-01-1970.


    2. From the Director of Town and Country Planning Lr.Roc.No.10387/05/P dtated
    13-12-2005.
    ORDER:
    The following Notification shall be published in the extraordinary issue of the
    Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated 16-03-2006.

    In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 326 of the
    Andhra Pradesh Municipality Act 1965 (Act 6 of 1965), the Governor of Andhra
    Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities
    (layout) Rules 1979:-.

    For rule 14 of the said rules the following rule shall be substituted namely:-

    “14. All the roads and open spaces such as parks and play grounds earmarked in
    accordance with theses rules in a layout which is approved under sub-section of (3) of
    sanction 185 shall automatically stands transferred free of cost, and vest with the
    Municipal Council, free from all encumbrances. After such vesting, the municipality shall
    maintain all such open spaces for the purposes of which they have been earmarked.”
