My name is Ailed Sophia Piña Aldana. I am from Mexicali Baja California. I’m
18 years old. In December 21 is my birthday. My favorite color is purple and
yellow. I love my dog Lucas, he is perfect. My number phone is 6863929076

I love to eat Chinese food in especially chicken whit pineapple. I love to take
a shower in the morning. My favorite hobby is read fairy books, but in
general the dark romance and psychologic suspense.
Possessive Adjectives : Indican posesión, para saber cual adjetivo utilizar
correctamente es necesario identificar el sujeto.
Por ejemplo:
My car is red (My corresponde al sujeto I, estoy hablando de MI carro)
Brenda’s car is red . (Brenda’s car : ‘s indica posesivo , en este caso se refiere
al : carro de Brenda)
Her car is red (Her corresponde al sujeto SHE : ella )

Activity #7
Oral presentation project.
1. In teams look for information about “a famous family” it can be from your
favorite cartoons, series, movies etc.

2. Get organized! So everyone talks about one family member. Write the
information you will be presenting so I can check and correct it, if needed.

3. In your oral presentation you must use the following grammatical structures:
● Possessive adjectives / possessive pronouns
● ‘s possessive
● Simple present (we learned it last semester, you use this grammatical
structure to share information about one character.

4. Be creative.
5. Add your information HERE, once corrected.

Dr. James Naismith's Original Rules of Basketball
1. The ball can be thrown in any direction with one or both hands.

2. The ball may be batted in any direction with one or both hands (never with the
fist).

3. A player cannot run with the ball. The player must throw it from the spot on
which he catches it, allowance to be made for a man who catches the ball when
running at a good speed if he tries to stop.

4. The ball can be held in or between the hands; the arms or body can not be used
for holding it.

5. No shouldering, holding, pushing, tripping, or striking in any way the person of


an opponent can be allowed; the first infringement of this rule by any player can
count as a foul, the second shall disqualify him until the next goal is made, or, if
there was evident intent to injure the person, for the whole of the game, no
substitute allowed.

6. A foul is striking at the ball with the fist, violation of Rules 3,4, and such as
described in Rule 5.

7. If either side makes three consecutive fouls, it can count a goal for the
opponents (consecutive means without the opponents in the mean time making a
foul).
8. A goal can be made when the ball is thrown or batted from the grounds into the
basket and stays there, providing those defending the goal do not touch or disturb
the goal. If the ball rests on the edges, and the opponent moves the basket, it shall
count as a goal.

Activity #10 A. Answer the following questions about basketball


1. Can a player throw a ball using both hands?

The rules of boxing vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, and on whether it is
an amateur or professional bout.

◼ A violation of the following rules is considered a foul, and can result in


a warning, point deduction, or disqualification by the referee:
You cannot hit below the belt, hold, trip, kick, headbutt, wrestle, bite, spit on,
or push your opponent.
◼ You cannot hit with your head, shoulder, forearm, or elbow.
◼ You cannot hit with an open glove, the inside of the glove, the wrist, the
backhand, or the side of the hand.
◼ You cannot punch your opponent's back, or the back of his head or neck
(rabbit punch), or on the kidneys (kidney punch).
◼ You cannot throw a punch while holding on to the ropes to gain leverage.
◼ You can't hold your opponent and hit him at the same time, or duck so low
that your head is below your opponent's belt line.
◼ When the referee breaks you from a clinch, you have to take a full step
back; you cannot immediately hit your opponent--that's called "hitting on the
break" and is illegal.
◼ You cannot spit out your mouthpiece on purpose to get a rest.
◼ If you score a knockdown of your opponent, you must go to the
farthest neutral corner while the referee makes the count.
◼ If you "floor" your opponent, you cannot hit him when he's on the canvas.
