Learning Competencies: Supply rhyming words to complete a rhyme, poem

and song..(MT1OR-II-a-i-7.1)

I. Specific Objectives:

K- Recognize and identify rhyming words.

S- Tells words that rhymes in a poem, and song

A- Love of literature.

II. Subject Matter: Rhyming Words

References: MTB Q2 MODULE 3 Pulong Naggaray.

Materials: TV, manila paper, colored paper, masking tape

III. Procedure:

A. Daily Routine
1. Prayer
2. Checking of Attendance
B. Motivation
Singing a song “ Si Felimon”
Ask:1. What was the song all about?
2. Where did Felimon go?
3.What did he get?
4. Ask the pupils to supply the missing word from the
Song. (see chart)
C. Lesson Proper
Activity

Presentation: Lead the pupils to read the poem. “ Ang Batang Buotan”
(see chart)

Activity:
Direction: Put / on the blank if the words rhymes, and mark X if it is not.
