DESCRIPTION:
❖ This task is a group work
❖ Use the grammar: be going to and will
❖ Vocabulary: vocabulary about plans and
predictions (vocabulary from Unit 3)
❖ Practice your pronunciation, intonation, and
vocalization.
❖ Use a quiet place to record your conversation
❖ Record yourselves in a 3-4 minutes (apart from your
introductions and farewells)
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Work with your group
Think of three or four plans you want to fulfill in the next 20 years and write them down.
Use topics like studies, work, family, marriage, health, etc. For example:
•I’m going to be happily married.
•I’m not going to live in the same house I am now.

•STEP 2:Make some predictions about your life. What do you think will happen to you in the next 20 years?
•You can talk about managing a company, traveling around the world, improving your network skills, switching careers, etc. For example:

• I’ll probably manage a big company. I’m a very ambitious person.


• I definitely won’t travel around the world. I’m not much into it.
• I'll improve my networking skills. That's very important.

•STEP 3:Write your dialog with your predictions from steps 1 and 2.
•Don’t forget to include some expressions, details, and linking words to make your conversation more natural.

STEP 4: Keep in mind the following:


Work in group. Include a cover (see the example in the document Instrucciones para la redacción de trabajos).
Use the grammar BE GOING TO and WILL
Vocabualry: vocabulary about plans and predictions (Unit 13 )
Make sure your ideas are coherent.
Avoid using translators.
