LESSON PLAN

Topic: Colors

Age: 3-4 years old


Number of students: 20 students
Time: 40-45 minutes
Teacher: Do Thi Hong Anh

1. Objectives of the lesson
* Knowledge:
- Vocabulary: The students will be able to name the colors “red”, “yellow”, “green”,
“blue” when they see the flashcards or real objects during the lesson.
- Grammar:
+ The students will be able to respond to the questions “What is this?” or
“What color is this?” by saying “[Red]” or “It’s [red]”.
+ The students will be able to follow the commands “Find [red]”, “Go to
[yellow]”, “Jump to [green]”,...
* Skills:
- Do some simple actions (stand up, sit down, move, jump, dance) as requested.
* Attitude:
- Students are interested in the activity.
- Students interact well with the teacher.
2. Teaching aids and materials
* Teacher’s teaching aids:
- Flashcard: red, yellow, green, blue.
- Song: Freeze Dance (for brain break), Bye bye goodbye (for wrap up). Speaker and
laptop/mobile phone.
- Real objects with red, yellow, green, blue colors in the classroom.
* Students’ learning materials:
- Students are dressed comfortably and sit on the chairs, U shape, face to the
projector/TV screen.
3. Procedure

- Greet students. - Greet the teacher.
- Let the ss play the game “Follow the
instructions”: teacher uses the sentences - Play the game.

5-7 Teach new words using flashcards
