Father, we ask You for more revelation of who You
are. We ask You to declare Your name (character and
nature) to us so that the love that You have for Jesus would
be in us; that we would love Him the same way You do.
Open our eyes to see Your beauty so that our hearts would
be captured with love for You.

*To love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength is
to keep His Word with all of our heart, soul, mind and
strength.
John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it
is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My
Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
1 John 2:5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God
is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
Prayer: Lord we ask for grace to keep Your Word with all
of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We ask you to
illuminate our hearts and show us the parts of Your Word
that we have
ignored, missed, or neglected to obey. Cause us to
wholeheartedly keep all of Your Word.

The Beauty of Holiness
Prayer: Lord, grant that we would fear You and pursue
holiness of heart; that all would understand that we must be

The Fear of the Lord
*The “fear of the Lord” was the delight of the Lord Jesus
Christ (Isaiah 11:3). For this reason, the fullness of God’s
Spirit rested on Him (Hebrews 1:9).
*To “fear the Lord” means to “tremble at His Word” (Isaiah
66:2); to pay attention to His Word and to do what He says
(Exodus
9:18-21).
*Whenever the fear of God is mentioned in the New
Testament, we see the power of God, miracles, and a harvest
of souls
following.
Acts 2:43, 47b Then fear came upon every soul, and many
wonders and signs were done through the apostles. . . 47 b and
the Lord added to the church daily those who were being
saved.
Acts 5:11-14 So great fear came upon all the church and upon
all who heard these things. 12 And through the hands of the
apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people.
And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. 13 Yet
none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed
them highly. 14 And believers were increasingly added to the
Lord, multitudes of both men and women …
43
Acts 9:31 Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee,
and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the
fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they
were
multiplied.
43
The Fear of the Lord
Proverbs 16:6b by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil.
Prayer: Lord, release the spirit of the fear of the Lord to us
that there would be a work of repentance and departing from
evil.
Proverbs 19:23 The fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who
has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.
Prayer: Lord, let the holy and healthy fear of God be
established in our lives and in the church that will
produce obedience and holiness.
44
Prayer: Lord, impart to us the fear of the Lord so that
holiness may be brought to full maturity in us.

The Great Commission
Mark 16:15-18 And He said to them, “Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes
and is
baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be
condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe:
In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with
new
tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink
anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay
hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Prayer: Lord, we ask You to forgive us for neglecting to
obey Your Great Commission to go, to preach, and to
make
disciples. Would You ignite a burden in our hearts to obey
You and grant that every one of us would do our part.
John 4:35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and
then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes
and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

in how to pray for the person.
*For example: “Lord, deliver them from this ungodly relationship
that is holding them back from You,” or, “Lord, please send
godly people into their life.”

her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water
by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church,
not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy
and without blemish.
Humility
God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble. James 4:6
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

Love
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater
love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. John 15:12-13
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and
he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to
lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:16
Now the purpose (goal) of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a
good conscience, and from sincere faith. 1 Timothy 1:5
Love is very patient, very kind, is never rude, never selfish, love bears no
malice 1 Cor. 13:4-5a (Moffat and Cent. transl.)
Love does not insist on its own way. Love is not quick to take offense. Love keeps
no score of wrongs. 1 Cor. 13:5b

knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but
have not love, I am nothing 1 Cor. 13:2

Nor
