Society benefits the most from the developed vaccines, as they help overcome the pandemic situation thanks to the combined use of scientific knowledge and technological capabilities. However, science and technology also have their limitations.

Module 1: Catch

Science and technology play a vital role nowadays mostly today that we are facing a
pandemic. Science and technology affect us in a lot of ways, it could be negative or positive. In
regards to our current situation, scientists or even doctors trying to make a solution to this
situation through, first is planning, gathering information by experimenting and observing
phenomena until they would be able to form or conclude a knowledge and understanding about
this problem. They could apply the knowledge formed by proceeding to the next step which is to
make the vaccine for us to survive or lessen the Covid-19 cases. Through modern technology
that we are using today, they could make this vaccine easily and as many as they could with the
control of its people. Now that vaccines are developed, society is benefited the most in the way
that they would be able to overcome this situation because of the use of science (knowledge) and
technology (actions). We should always remember that science and technology has also
limitations hence, it is very useful and helpful for us as a member of society.
