VIVRITI SUMMER INTERNSHIP

fintech NBFC, and Vivriti Asset Management (VAM), India’s fastest growing digital alternate debt fund

Mn, has offices in Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Jaipur, and consists of a high-powered
team of 200+.

₹6,500 crore to ₹40,000 crore) over the next five years.
Vivriti’s summer internship is a comprehensively designed experiential learning program to equip
talented students with deep subject matter expertise and hands on experience. An optimal
environment where students get an opportunity to explore, experiment and excel. We offer live
projects and excellent mentorship which will help the students translate the academic learning into
real world applications and hence provide that opportunity to scale the gap from the academic to
professional world rapidly.
Summer Internship program is a very critical channel for us to engage with great talent and most
often our interns receive a pre-placement offer and hence the first stepping stone of their

You will have an opportunity to land up with a fulltime role with us and be a vital part of our new
and growing team post the internship.
During the internship you will gain hands on experience working with dynamic fast paced environment
and highly driven professionals. You get an exposure to a variety of large NBFCs, HFCs, FIs. You will
be working on projects within the Lending or Asset Management business at Vivriti.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be allocated one of the projects in one of the Finance focused teams, after the final
selection. The scope of work would include a part of the following:
• Comprehensive coverage of the credit profile of the sector through public info / data
available with Vivriti
• Identification of key drivers of changes in credit profile and creating templates to track these
drivers
• Identify the sunrise sectors & related landscape + key performance indicators + SWOT
analysis. Recommend on whether Vivriti should invest in these sectors
• Mapping sector appetite for PE/VC investors, banks & NBFCs. Comparison of global vis-à-vis
domestic best practices for such industries
• Identify / understand the best practices in various banks & NBFCs for verticals such as
origination, product structuring / suite, credit/risk approach, exposure cut-offs, etc
• Internal review of the credit policy and selection criteria across asset classes
• Consolidate data for credit score for SCF for vendors and dealers
• Build credit score model for vendor and dealers based on the bureau data and VCPL
repayment track record
• Evaluate Fund’s Investment Strategy, fund structure, unit economics, portfolio
characteristics, key USP, past performance, investors in the fund.
• Market segmentation – investor profile, rating profile, return profile, asset Manager,
products, new launches, etc.
• Feasibility Study and Execution of Rating Model Validation and Automation for-
a. Base Case Default or Loss estimation Model for Securitisation PTCs
b. Cash Flow Model for Securitisation PTCs
c. Fund Rating Model
• Creating and improving existing dashboard spreadsheets for Fund Monitoring to investors
Desired skills and experiences:
• You are currently in your first year of a PGDBM/MBA program.
• Good understanding of financials (P&L, B/s and cash flow statements)
• Excellent understanding of excel and aptitude of statistics and basic understanding of
ratings and credit risk
• Be brilliant with numbers, strong analysis in financial statements, interpreting data and
solving problems
• Be personable and be able to hold conversations with various stakeholders
• Present / articulate / position an idea compellingly with strong oral and written
communication skills.
• Ambitious and Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• A tenacious learner. You can quickly grasp details of business models, client acquisition
strategy.
