Q1. Explain SDG goals along with icon. Write the uses and application for the same.

Ans: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aim to transform our world. They are a call to
action to end poverty and inequality, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy health, justice
and prosperity. They are a plan agreed to by all world leaders to build a greener, fairer, better world
by 2030, and we all have a role in achieving them. They are:
1. No Poverty
With a projected global poverty rate of 7% in 2030, the equivalent of 598,394,116 people, this UN
goal aims to end poverty of all kinds.
2. Zero Hunger
“Zero Hunger” sets out to end hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote
sustainable agriculture.
3. Good Health and Well-Being
With a focus on increasing life expectancy and reducing common child and maternal diseases and
killers, this goal targets ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages.
4. Quality Education
This goal ensures inclusive and equitable quality education and promotes lifelong learning for all.
Sadly, COVID-19 reversed years of education gains, and many countries lack basic school
infrastructure. It ensure free and quality primary and secondary education, give children access to
early childhood development, etc.
5. Gender Equality
SDG 5 targets to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, end discrimination
against women, eliminate all forms of violence against women, eliminate harmful practices, etc.
6. Clean Water and Sanitation
The availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation ensures safe water for drinking,
sanitation, and hygiene, yet 2.3 billion people live in water-stressed countries.
7. Affordable and Clean Energy
Almost 800 million people lack access to electricity and 1/3 of the population uses dangerous cooking
systems. This puts into perspective why this goal aims to ensure affordable, reliable, sustainable, and
modern energy.
8. Decent Work and Economic Growth
This goal aims of promoting sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth and productive
employment and decent work ever more important.
9. Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
Resilient infrastructure, inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and innovation is the objective of
this sustainable development goal. Enhancing rural road connectivity, increasing research and
development investment, and manufacturing high tech products helps stabilize infrastructure.
10. Reduced Inequalities
This sustainable development goal focuses on reducing inequalities within and among countries.
Income inequality, the refugee crises, and inequality indexes all show that certain areas and countries
are highly more beneficial to live in than others.
11. Sustainable Cities and Communities
This goal promotes making cities and human settlements safer, resilient, and sustainable through use
of national urban policies, more access to public spaces, convenient public transportation, and the
reduction of slums.
12. Responsible Consumption and Production
This goal aims to reduce climate change and negative environmental impacts.
13. Climate Action
Climate action is a goal involving the fight against climate change and its impacts. Rising greenhouse
gas emissions, an average global temperature increase, and increased spending due to climate change
are all negative results of climate change.
14. Life Below Water
The Life Below Water goal focuses on conserving and sustainably using our oceans, seas and marine
resources for sustainable development.
15. Life on Land
This goal overall promotes the health of land life. It includes protecting, restoring, and promoting land
ecosystems, managing forests sustainably.
16. Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
This goal involves reducing conflict, insecurity, and weak institutions by means of promoting peace
and inclusivity for sustainable development and justice for all.
17. Partnership for the Goals
This last goal aims to help realize strong partnership and global cooperation for the SDGs.
Q2. Explain AI Domains- (also paste pictures of the examples)
Ans: The domains of AI are:
1. Data Sciences
Data sciences are a domain of AI related to data systems and processes, in which the system collects
numerous data, maintains data sets and derives meaning/sense out of them.
Eg: Weather Forecasting Website, Price Comparision Website.
2. Computer Vision
Computer Vision, abbreviated as CV, is a domain of AI that depicts the capability of a machine to get
and analyse visual information and afterwards predict some decisions about it.
Eg: Face Lock, Self Driving Car
3.Natural Language Processing
Natural Language Processing, abbreviated as NLP, is a branch of artificial intelligence that deals with
the interaction between computers and humans using the natural language.
e.g Smart assistants like Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa recognize patterns in speech, then infer
meaning and provide a useful response
Q3. Take a picture of Smart Home and identify the devices used for which purpose. (Minimum
10 devices) Paste the relevant picture of Smart Home.
Ans: A smart home refers to a convenient home setup where appliances and devices can be
automatically controlled remotely from anywhere with an internet connection using a mobile or other
networked device.
Some of the devices used in Smart Homes are:
1. A smart home allows homeowners to control appliances, thermostats, lights, and other
devices remotely using a smartphone or tablet through an internet connection.
2. Smart TVs connect to the internet to access content through applications, such as on-demand
video and music. Some smart TVs also include voice or gesture recognition.
3. In addition to being able to be controlled remotely and customized, smart lighting systems,
such as Hue from Philips Lighting Holding B.V., can detect when occupants are in the room
and adjust lighting as needed.
4. Smart thermostats, such as Nest from Nest Labs Inc., come with integrated Wi-Fi, allowing
users to schedule, monitor and remotely control home temperatures.
5. Using smart locks and garage-door openers, users can grant or deny access to visitors. Smart
locks can also detect when residents are near and unlock the doors for them.
6. With smart security cameras, residents can monitor their homes when they are away or on
vacation.
7. Pet care can be automated with connected feeders.
8. Houseplants and lawns can be watered by way of connected timers.
9. Kitchen appliances of all sorts are available, including smart coffee makers that can brew a
fresh cup automatically at a programmed time; smart refrigerators that keep track of
expiration dates, make shopping lists or even create recipes based on ingredients currently on
hand; slower cookers and toasters; and, in the laundry room, washing machines and dryers.
10. Household system monitors may, for example, sense an electric surge and turn off appliances
or sense water failures or freezing pipes and turn off the water so the basement doesn't flood.
Q4. Create a Poster on Future Job Advertisement For AI. (A4 Size sheet)

 Nature of Company
 Address & Contact no of company
 Job Title
 Requirements for Job Vacancy like qualification, experience, benefits and mention the salary
