C A L L F O R PA P E R
Scholars are invited to submit original and academic papers for a possible
inclusion in the second edition of the Language Review: An International
Journal of Linguistics. (LRIJL). The journal domiciles in the Department of
Linguistics and African Languages, Federal University, Lokoja, Nigeria.
ABOUT US
(LRIJL) is a peer-reviewed and referred journal and will be published annually.
This edition will be out in October, 2023. The aims of this journal are to provide
scholarly and intellectual avenue for local and international researchers to
showcase their academic enterprise for the benefit of humanity, and to bridge
the knowledge gap in the field of Linguistics, in particular and Humanities, in
general.
The journal welcomes and encourages submissions of original articles,
dialogues, book reviews that have not been submitted for publication or
published elsewhere and touch on issues bothering on all areas of Linguistics,
(both diachronic & synchronic) Languages and Literature. Language issues in
other disciplines such as Education, Philosophy, Social Sciences, Religious
Studies, Anthropology, etc are equally welcome.
ABSTRACT AND FULL PAPER SUBMISSION
The papers submitted for publication should be written in English and must not
exceed 15 pages, including the references and an Abstract of not more than
200 words with a maximum of five keywords, typed in MS Word format in 12 PT
font size, Times New Roman and 1.5-line spacing. References must be included
at the end of the paper using the APA 7th Edition manual citation style. All
papers go through a double-blind review process.
The front page of the paper must contain the title, names, telephone numbers,
email address and institutional affiliation of the author(s).
Kindly submit your original paper, both Abstract and full manuscript with a
non-refundable assessment fee of N5,000 to the Editor-in-Chief:
[email protected] on or before 31st August, 2023.
Any author whose submission is favourably considered for publication would
be required to pay a sum of N20,000.00 as publication fees to the following
