 The Guardians of the Earth Association Inc. the only Accredited Pollution Control Officer
(PCO) Training Institution in Northern Mindanao, in collaboration with the Environmental
Management Bureau – Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR 10) will be
conducting a “BASIC TRAINING COURSE FOR POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICERS “. The forty (40) hour
training is designed to train designated Pollution Control Officer (PCO) on various aspects of
environmental compliance and consequently secure PCO accreditation from Environmental
Management Bureau. PCO Accreditation is mandatory requirement pursuant to DAO 2014-002.

All newly designated PCOs are invited to participate in order to fulfill the DENR requirements
for PCO accreditation. Accredited PCOs may join as a refresher course and to know some important
updates on environmental laws, rules, and policies.
The course is composed of two parts divided in two schedules which will be held via Zoom.
Part 1 (20 hours) – Dates To be announced as soon as confirmed 35pax is reached
Part 2 (20 hours) – Dates To be announced as soon as confirmed 35pax is reached
Emailed Online-Confirmation Slip-Forms must be filled up and submitted back as confirmation.
Training fees are as follows:
1st 20 Hr. training = Php 4,000.00 (inclusive of automatic GEAI Membership fee)
2nd 20 Hr. training = Php 3,500.00
