Transitioning into Tech


There is probably a reason why you to make this move. If there isn’t, it is important
to know that your WHY really matters a lot.

Facts about the Tech Space


● It is a very vast space which means that you have to specialized (at least for
now)
● It is not a side hustle. It’s basically similar to studying computer science/
computer engineering in the university. The difference is that you are putting
in all the work(Time, Effort, Discipline).
● It is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

● You don’t need huge capital or connection to stand out. You can transition
from scratch. Most of the best courses out there are free.
● It is essential to remember that good things take time.
Tools
● Access to a personal laptop (Computer) :
You can learn with your phone, books e.t.c but to practice, the best tool is a
laptop.
● Proper Internet Connection :
Most of the courses you will be taking are online(some though not all can be
downloaded offline) so data purchase will be needed.
● Resilience :
Don’t give up, you have to finish those courses.
Tools
Consistency : 1hr 30 mins per day can really be the change you need.

● Frontend Web Developments:


The front end is the aspect that deals with the interface of a web page, or
mobile application. As a front end developer you need to have(or develop) an
aptitude for colors, shapes, designs. You will be responsible for writing the
code that will determine how the websites will appear.
