PANELBOARD
BUILDER…

“Established in the Philippines since1955”

PANELBOARDS

Two types of standard panelboards are

manufactured by the company:

Type A: Those utilizing plug-in circuit breaker branches.

Type B: Those utilizing bolt-on circuit breaker branches.

All circuit breakers for same including the mains

are rated 10KA (symmetrical) interrupting capacity
at 240V to a maximum of Twenty-one (21) 2-pole
circuit. However, panels with branches in excess
of 21 may also be fabricated upon request, but

POWER SWITCHGEARS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Features which insure maximum safety, uninterrupted
service and production, long life expectancy, flexibility

GENERAL expected only when power switchgears are carefully
engineered.
Power switchboards are custom-built power
centers and service equipment for power and ELECTRA field engineers backed up by research and
lighting distribution in industrial, commercial and development engineering staffs and consultants

APPLICATION
There is a power switchgear for every particular
application or need. High-voltage Load Interrupting
Switchgears are for the control of high-voltage
circuits from the incoming power supply up to the
feeder control devices. Power Substation Load
Centers are also designed and manufactured to
receive high-voltage power supply and transform it
to the low-voltage power for utilization. The
swithgear combines the high-voltage section, the
transformer section and low voltage section. They
are tailored to the system needs of the customer.

CONSTRUCTION

“ELECTRA” Power Switchgears are of steel

construction and fabricated to suit customer
requirements. Incoming high-voltage supply is
independently isolated from the low-voltage
section of the switchgear. Circuits are fully
protected on both the high voltage section and the
low-voltage section. Mechanical and electrical
interlocks are standard safety provisions for
maximum personnel and equipment protection.
Only approved type primary disconnects of either

APPLICATION

Motor control centers are generally applicable for

industrial concerns where groups of motors may be
conveniently controlled from one point, usually and
preferably, at the load center. The savings in
capital investments in terms of equipment and
installation costs are among the valuable
advantages gained by their use. Added
advantages are the ease of maintenance and
equipment servicing which are periodically
undertaken to reduce service interruptions due to
equipment failure.

MOTOR CONTROL CENTERS
(JUNIOR TYPE)
Junior type motor control centers are cheap and convenient substitutes for full size motor control centers where:

1. Motors to be controlled number 5 or less with a maximum rating of 5 HP at 220V and 10HP at 440V.
2. Limited floor space would require wall mounting of the control center.
3. There is minimum of components such as relays, wires and accessories for interlocking of motors
controlled.

Where motors are in excess of 5 and are to be controlled from the same point, two or more control centers may
be connected and installed in parallel and arranged two-high and/or side-by-side.

Each M.C.C. unit is divided into five (5) horizontally-aligned compartment covering the entire width of the unit.
A compartment may either contain a lone circuit or a circuit breaker-magnetic starter combination (depending
upon electrical design), or may be used as a passage of main feeder wires.

Copper power straps (one per phase) from which individual motor feeders originate, are located inside the
gutter at one end. Owner-furnished branch feeders pass through the gutter and descend to respective branch
circuit breakers.

OPTIONAL FEATURES
1. Rotary Operating Handle per CB Photo shows a M.C.C. with four (4) horizontally
2. Red and/or Green indicator light External reset button aligned compartment.
