Q 1. Avanti deposits Rs. 80 per month in a cumulative deposit account for six years. Find
the amount payable to him on maturity, if the rate of interest is 6% per annum.
Q 2. Subodh had a 5 year recurring deposit account in the State Bank of India. He
deposited Rs. 240 per month. If he received Rs. 17694 at the time of maturity, what
was the rate of interest.
Q 3. Mr. Harsh Sharma gets Rs. 6455 at the end of one year at the rate of 14% p.a. in a
recurring deposit account. Find his monthly instalment.
Q 4. A R. D of Rs. 1200 per month has a maturity value of Rs. 12440. If the rate of
interest is 8% p.a., find the time of the R.D. account.
