We are very happy to welcome you all in today’s Music Recital. This afternoon we have a nice
selection of songs, some of which we are sure are familiar to you.
I need to remind everyone to please switch your cell phones in silent mode. Also, please refrain
from talking during the performance or making any kind of loud noises.
We begin this program with welcoming remarks by our very talented Music Coach, MR. ELIPAS
SIBUA
Today’s recital marks a significant event to every performer display of various talents in voice,
piano and guitar.
The students seated before you have made great strides in a very short time. Most of them had
never played a musical. They’ve learned not only how to make music on their instruments, but
also how to read music, how to play with etiquette and discipline, and most of all how to practice
and persevere. I think you’ll be impressed with what you will hear.
We are extremely fortunate to be in a community that supports the arts.
As a teacher, to these students, I share every parent’s happiness and equally fulfilled to watch
each achievement as they showcase their talent in singing, playing the piano, and playing the
guitar.
I always remind them that they have accomplished much by being in attendance, that these pieces
represent the work we do from week to week, but is only a portion of their potential and skill. I
think also to keep it happy and upbeat is good for the overall spirit of the event. So, to all the
recitalists, enjoy your moment to play solo!
To all of you parents, sit back and enjoy.
I want to begin this show with an invocation song, may I please ask Filxymir Moneva to join me
in singing the “The Prayer”.

And now, the moment we’ve been all waiting for to see our beloved ones on stage.
1. We will start to our Voice Recitalists.
Singing to the beautiful song “I Can”, please welcome Celine Avakian.
5. Thank you Lea. Singing to the song “Stand Up For Love” please welcome Filxymir Moneva.

No doubt, Music warms our hearts and souls, and uplifts our spirits.
Sit tight everybody as we move to our Piano Recitalist.
There is a saying that “Music is a Universal Language”, some people say that “Music Makes the
World Go Round” and “Music Makes the People Come Together” and that is the reason why we
all gathered here today to experience it.

I think its so cool that you can pick up the guitar and create something that didn't exist 5 minutes
ago. You can write something that no ones ever heard before. You have music at your fingertips.
I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are
all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.
And now, we would like to present to you Mr. Eli for his closing remarks.
Thank you. On behalf of these students, I’d like to recognize and give a wholehearted “Thanks!”
to you, their supportive parents, family and friends. Learning to play an instrument isn’t easy, for
both the player and those he or she lives with. Encouragement and support are very important in
those first few months. So we dedicate this next Special Recital this afternoon to you, with our
appreciation and thanks.
Thank you. Please give little musicians a round of applause as they take their well-deserved
bows. Aren’t they great?!!!!!
And thank you again for your support and encouragement. The next time you hear us, we’re
going to be even better—if you can imagine that.
