A. Request permission to conduct an interview with teachers. Identify the
instructional resources used by teachers in teaching and learning.

1. What are the types of instructional resources used by teachers to


motivate learners about the lesson?
-Traditional Resources (Lesson Plans, Daily Lesson Log) and Digital/Graphic
Materials are usually used by the teachers like printed pictures in order to allow them
see the images clearly about a particular story. Selection for reading enhancement
are also printed. But, most of the time the teacher uses digital tools such as the
laptop and television to present in motion objects related to the lesson.
2. What are the types of instructional resources used by teachers in the
delivery of content of the lessons?
-Print and Multimedia materials
3. What types of instructional resources are used by teachers in the
assessment of student’s academic performance?
-Still, Print for the pen-and-paper tests or summative tests. Digital for quick
post-assessment flashed on screens and also video presentations.
4. What are the types of resources used by teachers in practical
applications?
-Modules and Digital Learning resources

B. Request permission to conduct a survey. Request teachers to help you


identify resources where you can access education research and
literature. Write down your answers below.
-Library, Internet

C. Preliminary Activity. Conduct a survey of digital media used by teachers


in teaching and learning activities. Write your answers below.
-Images or screen captures
-Videos or computer screencasts to youtube videos of speeches
-PowerPoint presentations
-Movie clips to provide examples of concepts
-Learner-created video or audio materials

A. Perform the following activities.


1. Create a short video clip about a specific lesson using ICT tools.
Write your experience in creating the video in the space provided
below.
-I find it so convenient to use ICT tools because in this digital era, technology
paved way for easy access of resources and paved way to save time and
energy.
2. Prepare presentation slides regarding a specific topic using
PowerPoint or other presentation software. Describe the process of
creating presentation slides.
-In doing the presentation, it will be a lot visible, vibrant and interactive.
Although we have to consider the designs not to overdo it, the fonts to make it
readable and other things to consider including the color, graphics and other
visual effects to be used.
3. Visit the DepEd Learning Portal through
https:/lrmds.deped.gov.ph/k_to _12. check and observe how the
learning portal is designed. Describe your experience in accessing
information from the portal. Write down your observation below.
-The DepEd Portal is very accessible. The color choice is also good because it
is not too bright and not too dark. The drop down boxes are very convenient.
There is also a quick slideshow to have a overall background as to how the
portal works. There is also a sidebar for the announcements. There is a media
gallery for the photos, Updates on Kto12 and SHS. In addition, the portal has
search bar to easily search what you are looking for. It also has a section
where lesson plans are downloadable. Overall, the DepEd Portal is a very big
help.

4. Using Google or other search engines, look for Open Educational


Resources online and try to download an e-book. List down the
websites where you downloaded the materials below.
