Sap Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway Middleware Config

The document describes how to configure SAP Integration Suite as middleware between SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba solutions using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. Key steps include importing integration packages and value mapping packages, and configuring the value mappings with identifiers for outbound transactions from SAP S/4HANA to SAP Ariba and inbound transactions from SAP Ariba to SAP S/4HANA. This allows transactions to flow from SAP S/4HANA through SAP Integration Suite and SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway to SAP Ariba solutions, and inbound transactions to flow from SAP Ariba solutions through SAP Ariba Cloud

This document describes How to configure SAP Integration Suite as middleware with SAP Ariba Cloud
Integration Gateway between SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba solutions.

CONFIGURING SAP INTEGRATION SUITE

You can configure SAP Integration Suite and redirect the flow of transactions between SAP S/4HANA and
SAP Ariba solutions through it. After this configuration, the outbound and the inbound transactions flow as
follows:
• The outbound transactions flow through SAP Integration Suite and SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway
to SAP Ariba solutions.
• The inbound transactions from SAP Ariba solutions flow through SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway to
SAP Integration Suite. Then, these transactions pass through SAP Cloud Connector to SAP S/4HANA

PREREQUISITES

Prerequisites for SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway

Configure SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway to send and receive documents through middleware.

Prerequisites for a private tenant

• Maintain the user credentials in the Manage Security Material page to connect SAP S/4HANA and SAP
Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. Enter username and password to connect and deploy the user
credentials. Ensure that you do this first before you download the SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA
Integration with the SAP Ariba package.
• Choose the package for the value mapping.
The value mapping package has two sets of agency values, one set stores the values for the outbound
transaction and the other for the inbound transactions. The outbound value mapping starts with the
agency name ACIG and the inbound value mapping starts with the agency name S4HANA.
• Import integration package. The integration package includes integration flows and value mappings. You
can access the integration package from the catalog page in the Discover section on the SAP Integration
Suite web application.

CONFIGURING SAP INTEGRATION SUITE

Perform the following steps on SAP Integration Suite:
• Logon to the SAP Integration Suite web application as an administrator.
• Create content packages for the integration flows for SAP Ariba solutions and deploy them. Create
separate packages for Ariba Network and SAP Ariba Buying (with guided buying capability enabled). SAP
Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite uses the same package as that of Ariba Network.
• Create content packages for the value mappings for SAP Ariba solutions. Add values to the value
mapping artifact and deploy. There is only one value mapping package for Ariba Network and SAP Ariba
solutions.
• Add user credentials for SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway.

Value mapping package

This section describes the content that SAP Ariba provides in the value mapping package, Value Mapping
for SAP ERP and S/4 HANA with Cloud Integration Gateway. The package contains an XML file containing
fields that you can configure with the required values. The value mapping package has two sets of agency
values, one set stores the values for outbound transactions and the other for outbound transactions. After
you import the Value Mapping for SAP ERP and S/4 HANA with Cloud Integration Gateway package, you
can configure the values through the user interface.
The following table lists the fields that you map between SAP S/4HANA and Ariba Network or SAP Ariba
solutions. You must specify the required values for each of these fields.
