The Centronics PS220 is a serial impact dot mat-
rix printer designed to offer reliability, economy
and ease of operation to users of small business
and personal computers. The PS220 complements
any home or office decor and is quiet both in per-
formance and presentation. Standard printing is
performed at 180 characters per second (CPS) ,
with excellent near letter quality printing at 45
CPS. A variety of optional near letter quality fonts
are available.
GETTING DOWN TO BUSINESS . ..
The Centronics PS220 has essentially eliminated the need
for a second printer for those special jobs where print quality
he requirement. An attractive near letter quality font
,.-' restige) will upgrade the business image with clear, clean
correspondence. One touch of the NLQ .button on the
control panel is all that it takes. Three optional NLQ fonts
are also available. And seven different levels of bit image
modes produce accurate charts, graphs or clip art images.
The high-density bit image capability of the PS220 produces
graphics that will make your presentations a true "work of
art." And thanks to a 3K byte input data buffer, the operator
will almost always be able to go straight to the next task.
A REAL STEP SAVER ...
The PS220 provides automatic paper insertion. Simply place
the paper behind the platen and push the TOF button - the
paper is automatically inserted and forwarded to the correct
position for printing. And despite the PS220's compact de-
sign, you can use 16-1 /2" wide cut sheets or 16" width fan-
fold forms.

Centronics' PS220 is equipped with the IBM PC Graphics
Printer and FX-1 00 + compatible character sets and control
codes for easy interfacing with the wide range of personal
computers that use these standards.
THE OPTIONS ARE GREAT . ..
An automatic cut sheet feeder (SF-41 ) is available for
smooth, automatic paper loading. And two font modules pro-
vide an extra choice of type styles and memory. The LQ- 100
offers Anelia proportional spacing, Gothic and Quadro while
the LQ-200 has Anelia PS and Gothic, plus 16K bytes of
random access memory.

EXCELLENT PRINT QUALITY
The Printstation 240 offers a 24 pin print head for exceptional letter
quality printing and high resolution graphics. Designed tor office
applications requiring word processing, the PS 240 operates from
both dot matrix and Daisy Wheel protocols and prints in pica, elite and
proportional fonts. Selection is easily accomplished from the front
panel.
The 24 pin print head outputs high resolution pin addressable graphics
in dot densities of up to 180 DPI.
FLEXIBLE PAPER HANDLING
The PS 240 has features ideally suited for high volume cqrrespond-
ence and demand document printing. An operator installable 80 or
132 column sheet feeder increases output without operator
attendance. The 240 prints an original plus 4 copies and features 1"
perforation skip over and 1" tear off for demand documents. The 24
pin print head has a print penetration control for clean, crisp
characters on every copy.

are high performance field proven
printers for data processing applications.
Centronics band line printers are available in three versions
to meet your requirements. Modell prints at speeds up to
1130 LPM while the Model II prints at 1440 LPM and the
Modell II at up to 2000 LPM. Print bands are available in 48,
64, 96, 128 character set configurations and the Model Ill is
capable of using statistically ordered print bands for
throughput improvement.
Operators will appreciate the user friendly features such as
a two million line towel ribbon that is quickly and easily
changed. Extra long ribbon life means less frequent changes
and lower consummables costs. A swing gate allows easy
forms loading and alignment. In addition a forms weight
adjustment optimizes print quality.
The E Series modular architecture features 80% parts
commonality thus reducing spare parts to provide econo-
mical service and training. Designed to meet international
standards and featuring a universal power supply and
international character sets the Centronics E Series is truly
